They're likely to revisit Mahrez too and Leon Bailey.

Not even City will land all these guys, but they're likely going to get quite a few. I think the $200M figure seems more plausible, but at this point, who the hell knows. These summer transfer markets have been crazier as the years go by.

We are probably not signing more than 3 first team players this summer, and though we spend a lot of money, our record signing is still just £57.2m. I personally would be very surprised if our spending exceeds £200M. The dream summer for me is Thiago/Isco plus Mbappe/Bailey. Probably won't get any of those players tho.

I love Aguero and he will always be a legend but I would not be opposed to selling him because this is likely the last year they'll be able to fetch a transfer fee over £70 million for him. Doubt it happens, but wouldn't mind replacing him with the likes of an Icardi or Dybala, or even a Timo Werner in addition to loading up on some other great signings.

Would be tough to let him go with 199 goals...

A dude turning 30 is still worth that kind of money? Crazy times.

The record signing is DeBruyne, correct?

Wenger officially out! At end of season

Saw that when I woke up this morning. I've only been an Arsenal fan since 2010 (Thanks FIFA!), so I don't remember all the great seasons and players like others do. I've done my research, watched countless Henry highlights, read up on and watched a few games of the Invincibles, etc. so I know just how important Wenger has been for the club. I also know just how hard it's been the last few years with him in charge. I almost liken it to Paterno towards the end of his career (minus the sex scandal). Legend who has had some absolutely fantastic teams, but just doesn't quite have it anymore, but how can you fire him? Plus, sometimes he does some good things (see the FA Cup wins of recent). I'll forever be happy Wenger was at Arsenal, and I do believe he was handcuffed by ownership thanks to the new stadium, but he just isn't what he was. I'm glad he is stepping down, and not outright getting fired. The best ending possible would be to go out as the Europa League winners.

COYG!

Mohamed Salah is PFA Player of the Year.

I figured for sure Harry Kane was going to win this. Alas, an Egyptian Muslim playing for a club north of Sheffield has won it. Deservedly.

Napoli's late winner against Juventus yesterday was by far the best football of the weekend. Great drama and Serie A is now a race with Napoli only a point behind the leaders Juve.

Really? If it wasn't Salah it would have been De Bruyne. Kane didn't even win the PFA Young Player of the Year Award that he was nominated for.

Would be awesome to see Napoli win Serie A.

DeBruyne would have been my other guess, true.

Speaking of Napoli and City, reports are Jorginho is finalizing a deal to move to City this summer. He completed over 100 passes yesterday against Juventus.

The very rich get very richer.

It should also be noted that Jose Mourinho had both Salah and De Bruyne at Chelsea but didn't think either one was good enough.

I also think, and this light bulb really went off while watching Man U and Spurs, that he isn't the brilliant tactician everyone gives him credit for. He seems to survive bad tactics and decision making because he's worked for big clubs with quality players.

He's not the first manager we can say this about, but he's certainly in the conversation among the ones we can.

Just imagine if Salah, Lukaku, and De Bruyne were good enough for Chelsea

They arrive back in Naples from Turin and it was a madhouse. Police had to figure out how to get the team out of the airport because there were so many supporters there. Nearly 10,000

Naples was not what I expected, but I also didn't know Pompei and Capri are right next to Naples so that made up for it a bit, Naples itself is pretty run down.

haha bit of an understatement :D

Yeah I guess that's why it stood out so much, I mean the bay of Naples is pretty well known... I never really knew Pompei was basically Naples too and I could have stayed there for weeks. Capri, for anyone who has been to both help me out, was EXACTLY like Catalina Isle of the cost of Los Angeles... very nice. Those two saved Naples but the city itself, woof.

South Italy is waaaaay better than the north but yeah, Naples itself sucks. Garbage everywhere and the city literally stunk. Calabria and Sicily are where to go. Didn't like Rome much either to be honest outside of all the historical stuff which you can do in 3 days at most.

yeah southern italy is definitely impoverished, you can tell why so many of them emigrated in droves to the United States. Naples has a reputation for a lot of crime but I didnt have any issues when I visited a few years back. It's a bit of a dump haha but yeah like most Italian cities the football club is it's heart and soul.

When I visited Naples, it was almost entirely crime-controlled.

I guess I'll have to differ about Capri --- it seemed inhabited by nothing but rich posers about as shallow as a street puddle. That is the ultimate in unattractive for me (even the moronic trophy wife with the open "robe" and nothing on underneath.)

I can see that, tho I live in So Cal and in fairness every joke has a bit of truth and that one certainly is no exception, which makes it easier for me to have that dynamic go unnoticed. It was still a very nice place to visit/vacation. It did remind me very much of an Italian version of Catalina though, even the layout of the bay and all was very similar.

Salah is toying with anyone that gets in his path. It's absurd at this point.

He's being man marked by the same guy who marked Messi in the last round and the guy got a yellow in the first half. Have fun.
