Went to FC Cincinnati's inaugural home game tonight. They did an excellent job of dressing UC's Nippert Stadium up and making it feel like home for a soccer game. Very cool to see the excitement for a USL team.

Also, their first goal was insane and awesome, and they got a W. I'll have to post a video of the goal and some photos when I can get to a computer.

How many fans showed up? They did an excellent job of filling out their roster.

14k, which is about 4k more than they hoped, even with the winter weather. It was a great turnout.

The Okoli guy that I understand used to play in Seattle is an absolute stud. He was hands-down the best player on the field.

I watched a preseason game between them and NYCFC and Cincinnati actually won and came away very impressed. I am sure the rivalry with Louisville will be intense.

On a different note, Christian Pulisic is starting for BVB vs Shalke today.

Yeah, they've got Louisville next Saturday at home. I'm already pumped up to head to that one.

Bro has an ego though. Good Lord, doesn't even try to hide it but I guess that's better than being faux humble. I'll never root for him.

I think the only way Madrid wins again is if they draw City. Bayern and the cross town rivals would take care of them.
