Anyone ever played a par six? I played one last week. I crushed my drive and was still 465 yards from the edge of an elevated green. It is the only one i have ever herd of, i didnt know if there were some in every state.

I don't think there is one in every state, but I have played one at the International near Boston. It is over 700 yards from the tips. Definitely crazy. I think the International is a Robert Trent Jones course, and he is probably my second favorite course designer. If he thinks a par-6 is legit, who am I to argue?

I'm a little sad to see women being made members at Augusta...... I won't buy Girl Scout cookies from a boy and I don't want to see men in Playboy. Why can't we have some space?

Masters week gents. Love it.

McDowell did a quick twitter QA today. Had some cool things to say about the course. https://twitter.com/Graeme_McDowell

I just got back from Sandestin, FL. I played three rounds....terribly. My game needs a lot of work. On the plus side I got my new driver yesterday (Titleist 913 D3) and really enjoy it. Anxious for some decent weather in Indy so I can get out and practice.

As much as I love ND Football...not even the National Championship week compares to Masters week. It is the most magical week of the year. For anyone who hasn't been, try and go down for at least a practice round someday. There is NOTHING like it.
Also, congrats on the new 913 D3. Do you like it? I have had the 909 version since it came out, and I still love it.

My first round this year was yesterday too. Typical first round of the year rust. I sucked too, but went out with my boys so it way a great day.

I would love to check out the Masters sometime. I went to my first event last summer (the BMW at Crooked Stick) and had a blast. Getting down to Augusta is definitely on my bucket list.

I'm pretty excited about the new driver. I've only used it on the range so far. It has a great feel. I personally like the sound too. I can't quite tell if I'm getting more distance with it, but I did notice that it takes less effort. I love it. I'm hoping by the end of summer to complete the woods set.

I got out yesterday. My ball goes left every single time

I'm not a golf pro, but I've been told it's easier to correct a hook than a slice. So, assuming you're right-handed, I think you'll be ok.

I was the exact opposite. I usually hit the ball right. I have a terrible outside-in swing path and it results in a slice almost every time. It took me almost all of last summer to get it corrected, and I still do it at times when I lose focus.

My biggest problem on the course is consistency. I can hit a bunch of good shots, they're just never on the same hole. haha

Actually, I'm a lefty. I'm one of maybe 2 or 3 lefties I have ever met lol. The weird this is that in baseball, I throw with my right hand but bat as a lefty

Aim right. :)

My oldest son was hitting everything to the right yesterday -- and when I say right I mean way right. I don't think I could hit a ball at the angle that his ball was coming off his club.

When he started getting frustrated, I told him to aim left -- so far left that it seemed absurd to him. He took my advice and started drilling them right down the middle. So, when I read your post it made me smile.

Ah, the push/fade/slice routine. I've been working on that for awhile. Getting there, but still not as consistent as I'd like. I've had a few tips get me on the right path (grip, alignment, stance, swing path, etc) I just need more practice.

I've played golf a lot of years, had a little game for a while. Then marriage and kids. not a good career move for golf.

Now what my mind thinks my body is doing is totally dis-jointed. Kinda sucks.

Played absolutely terrible over the weekend off the tee. Couldn't hit a drive in the fairway for the life of me. Thankfully, my chipping was the best its been and that helped make up for that big time. I was going to play today, but I have a semifinal game for basketball so that is gonna have to wait. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as nice/warm.

PLayed 9 holes at a shorter course Sunday. Shot 7 over... EH. I only hit irons and wedges Sunday. Pushed my irons which i need to correct on the range. Can't wait to hit my new Burner Superfast 2.0 driver out on the range.

I got in some green work tonight. Different chip shots and lots of putting. Short game. That's where it's at boys.

I really really really, really really, want to get the new D2. I tried hitting the D3 but honestly, for me, just impossible to hit. With a 445CC face, as sick as the club is, I couldn't do it. I'm still debating on the driver but if I get a new one it will be the D2.

Played yesterday and shot 82 for first time out in like 52 degree windy day. I was super impressed. It will likely get better at first, then I still hit a wall in July, start going low in August/September, then start the vicious cycle over again.

Oh yeah, it's the Masters week. Best 4 days of the year by far.

The driver I replaced was the dinosaur 975J. So anything would've been better. I love the D2. The price was right on the D3 though, so I can't complain. To be honest, I'm not a good enough golfer to really tell a difference. If it goes straight, I'll take it.

My goal this summer is to consistently shoot in the low 80s. Usually, I shoot between 85-90. I always have one or two holes during the round where I implode. I also tend to miss the easiest putts. So I'm really hoping to eliminate that and get my score down a bit.

I got the new D2. Traded in the 910 for the 913. I have hit it really well in the two rounds I've played. Easily the best driver I've ever hit. It's long and straight.
