That would be pretty much the opposite of "awesome". I want our players to be professional enough to not scream obscenities in an interview. That's pretty low brow and something you would expect from some former JUCO player in the SEC do. Not a Notre Dame man.

I'm not sure he wasn't being sarcastic. His post is an Eminem song
Yeah, what Insanity said. This is the Kool Aid thread, not the "what behavior is most appropriate for the sons of our Lady's university?" thread.

My ideal song to play while the special teamers run onto the field would be the instrumental beginning of Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria.
So good, but kind of generic. I like the Dropkick/Here Come the Irish mashup we have now.

I agree with the point made about songs being played out but when I'm drunk (and half the people there will be), my opinion changes and I love them.

Somehow that one doesn't get old. The beginning (and the ending as well) is incredible pump up music.

Fall Out Boy has had a good string of pump up songs the last few years. "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark" and "Centuries" were both used very effectively by NBC in their presentation of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The intro to Megadeth's Holy wars would be pretty awesome.

If I never hear centuries again, it would be too soon. I heard it last football season on espn about 189273408 billion times.

I don't think it's too old school necessarily, I think 10 year old kids have probably heard that song. I just think it's so overused that the younger crowd hates it. I liken it to "Welcome to the Jungle." It comes on and I think "please not this song again" (and I'm really not the "younger crowd"). If I could put together a list of songs I could never hear again and be totally fine with it, Thunderstruck would be on there.

Thunderstruck (or any AC/DC period)
Welcome to the Jungle
I Love Rock and Roll
Living on a Prayer
Don't Stop Believing
Crazy Train

I could probably put 20 or so songs on there that are just so overplayed I hate them.

I think I found your Twitter: https://twitter.com/NDGoldSeats

Rap pump up songs can't compare to the best rock ones. This is coming from a huge rap fan.

Yes.

What if they came out to the Game of Thrones theme. I will go crazy. Sounds Irish too.

For Whom The Bells Tolls by Metallica makes me want to start decapitating people

I much prefer Wherever I may roam as a pump up song but it isn't that great for a home game. I love the start. Would be a great road song.

ETA: I like AC/DC for some entrance music. Maybe TNT?

It really does sound pretty Irish. I don't know about it getting me pumped up though. It's epic sounding, but I need something that really drives to get me pumped.

Anyone watch Utah's QB last night gashing the Michigan defense, even while being unathletic, and thinking 'holy cow, Malik is going to shred people'?

We didn't need Utah to make us think that. I've been on the bandwagon since day 1. Jojoblack is my dawg.

Good call on Wherever I may Roam!

Not really a football stadium song but Dead and Bloated by Stone Temple Pilots is on heavy rotation in our gym.

If I knew that I never had to hear Fall Out Boy ever again, I would be overcome with joy.
