Oh they’ve figured it out but choose not to. I asked why since it would be more efficient for all. Airline said it’s courtesy to their first-class/business class customers who pay more.
I think it’s fair to say that those in 1st class/biz class are intelligent to realize that the most efficient way to board a plane is back to front. Are they that childish about being “first’ that they can comfortably wait at the gate before boarding after all the “riff raff” & not inconvenienced by everyone brushing up against them as they walk past first class.
I have no problem allowing business class passengers to board first if they want to. On a domestic flight that's maybe 10 rows of people, and they paid for the right to do it. But there is absolutely no reason whatsoever that the other 40 rows of people should not be seated from back to front.
