No. I think he needed to get his feet wet like Rizzo did a couple of years ago. These at bats will be really valuable for him next year.

I'm really impressed with the pitching and the possible rotation. Add one top half rotation guy and we're legit contenders.

If you look at his minor league career he always sputters and slumps a little bit when he gets promoted before he adjusts to the next level then he takes off.

Yep. I know for a fact that they win the World Series next year cause I saw Back to the Future 2. They beat Miami. Somehow Miami will move to the American League or there will be two National League teams in the World Series.

Went to the game last night. My first at Wrigley. It was one of the better sporting venue experiences that I have ever had!

Couldn't agree more about the experience. I will never forget taking the train to the, is it the Fullerton stop? for the first time. Seeing the ball park in the distance among the neighborhood and then walking down the steps toward the field was like being in a time warp. It felt like I was going to a ball game in the 40's. If a baseball fan has never experience it they must put Wrigley on their list.

The stop is Addison. But I agree, it is an experience like no other. It rivals a gameday at ND when the Cubs are in the playoff hunt.

Btw, I have 6 bleacher tickets for Friday night if anyone is interested.

I'm honestly super f'ing excited for next year. I really think we can compete if we add a big arm to go with Arrieta (absolute stud), Hendricks, and T Wood. Would like to see them get a veteran bat or two, Russell Martin or Nick Markakis would be awesome.

Odd factoid... The South Bend Silverhawks had to remove their field turf and install grass in order to court the Cubs.
