I bought at these prices. If this was bad it's too late.

It's still a bear market and not back where it was prior to the panic. You'll make a decent profit once this dies down and things begin to recover.

This is why everyone was trying to tell you not to try and guess where it will bottom before you invest. Trying to maximize every penny is impossible.

My wife was stocking up on meals last night (luckily we already had enough TP, water etc) and saw a woman with every single bottle of disinfectant in the store in her cart. My wife said it was prob four years worth in total volume. Another woman walked up kindly explaining that she has an immunocompromised child and really only needs one of the like 2-3 dozen bottles
of different cleansers etc this lady had to get her through the next couple weeks. The lady with the horde told her, according to my wife, "If you love your child so much you'll get that highest bid in when I auction this off, now f off!"

Now, I guess the store in question was only allowing five items of that nature per transaction but the store allowed this lady to do like ten different transactions so she did in fact end up clearing the whole store all on her own....

But nobody is out in public rioting or yelling or fighting over supplies. Everyone is pretty chill.

Pro tip check hardware stores if you really need toilet paper. Everywhere around here is sold out but Lowes is stocked. People just don't think of it.

Those are mutual funds so you are always going to be looking at the previous days closing price. Meaning SWISX closed yesterday at $15/share. If you purchased shares of the fund during market hours yesterday, that was the price you'd receive. If you put money to work this morning, before the market opened, you'll get todays closing price. Which has yet to be determined. So, no worries, you didn't actually buy anything at the open, yet, and you'll get todays closing price. But this is important to remember as when it comes to buying mutual funds. You need to understand that though they quote you a price, that price can change by the close and with equity funds, it could change a lot.

I dont know if this is just a human nature type thing, but it definitely has seemed to be based on gender to me.

Schools are closing for the next month. All the women in my office are total head cases right now, talking in circles and making no sense.

Probably not a good time to kick people off of federal health insurance or ending food supplies to families, considering one in six Americans now are below the federal poverty line. Some children get their only meal of the day at school, which are now closed. There will be layoffs with decreased economic activity. India has yet to hit hard. Their first death was today. Their reporting system there is not great. They are taking similar measures as we have instituted.

This is my dude-food when mama's working late or in Cali with the family. She's appalled I still eat... and I quote... "80's Indiana trailer park food." Which of course is nonsense, that would be fish sticks, tater tots, Totino's pizza rolls and Grape Kool-aid while watching Don Kirshner's Rock Concert and the Midnight Special w/ Wolfman Jack.

Well i just went to the grocery store for my typical lunch run. We were completely out of dishwaster tablets, and on our last roll of paper towels. I also wanted to snag a frozen pizza for tonight (the wife and i both didnt sleep well last night so as minimal cooking as possible sounded nice).

Holy smokes.

No parking. toilet paper is none to be found. Almost no paper products period. There were some paper towels nad some napkin packages still available but that was it.

Water and Gatorades almost non existent.
