I always start as an OC for a 1 * program, that's the best way to do it imo. The only question is how much harder do you want to make it on yourself after that? Location can be a big deal in recruiting. My favorite program to build on the old game was Texas State. It was in a hotbed for recruiting, allowing you to pull from Texas, Louisiana was relatively close, and Florida wasn't too far for most recruits. I had sounds downloaded from Texas State's band and everything imported in.I was gonna wait until the actual release day to get the game. But I may spend the $30 for the deluxe version so I can play it 3 days early. You get stuff for Ultimate Team too.
Is anyone picking a lesser team to try and rebuild in dynasty mode? I’m trying to choose between ECU, App State, and Charlotte

Idaho was a bigger challenge to build up. The closest big recruiting state was California, but you have NOTHING to really work with in your own state. On the other hand, the Kibbie Dome is legendary, it's a change of pace from the traditional bowl style setups.
So, I would consider your geographic location when considering which team you want to build up. Obviously there's a dozen plus other pitches that recruits will be focused on, but location is one that you can't really improve by getting better. If you're stuck in Idaho, you're stuck in Idaho and luring big time recruits from the South East that are interested in Proximity to Home will always be difficult to impossible. The other option is to ignore these kinds of recruits, or it sounds like we can Sway a recruit's priorities in this latest game again, so that might be an option. The other thing to consider with your geographic location is Pipeline States. If you want to start a Pipeline in a recruiting hotbed it's easier to do it from a neighboring state and not if they're all the way across the country. You could take lower ranked talent to achieve this, but then you're wasting roster spots. Just something to consider.
ive never heard of the guy from TennesseeSanders at 17 is crazy too

Sander isn't even the best QB North Dakota State will play this year. After a pedestrian performance against North Dakota State he will be adjusted.
I'm sure ya'll saw this yesterday, but Arch Manning will be in the game. This had to be the play all along, they were setting up some kind of endorsement.

In his Dynasty, Manning sent Ewers out without an OL so he'd get sent to the IR, now he's starterIs there some sort of practice mode?

Watch the raw footage in 60fps it's way better and much smoother gameplay.
I don't think EA played it safe at all!?? Unless that only means a new physics engine which we've known for years wasn't coming...
I'm not sure 'in the zone' mode is that interesting. EA has created a hundred cooler things in the new game.
But right now, dynasty is overflowing with new features and UT is pretty basic. At least give credit where its due.
Also, I do think college football dynasty is different to other games. We'll see how it goes.
I have the game in my cart on the PS network but something is stopping me from buying it.
$75.57 for a video game?
Blame EA for the engine they use for all games. THAT engine is awful. Seems the developers have to do what they can.
What you get for ultimate team is even close to worth it. Unless you are planning to grind this game or get lucky, those rewards will not significant improve your team. Three days early is the only decent thing offered, but not for me at $10/day.I was gonna wait until the actual release day to get the game. But I may spend the $30 for the deluxe version so I can play it 3 days early. You get stuff for Ultimate Team too.

As I've alluded to before, this is a pretty naive outlook to have about an EA Sports game. They have a solid track record in FIFA (EAFC*), Madden, and NHL of pushing players towards microtransactions.
There's no way you'll meet the language requirement and get through admissionsWill absolutely be starting as a two-star QB at one of the directional Michigan schools and then transferring to ND to steal CJ Carr’s job after a year (if my first-year studies credits transfer, of course)

the NCAA isn’t involved in the game. why it’s called EA College Football and not NCAA"Enter the portal" as a feature is just kind of weird to me. I suppose its a thing now for many kids in reality who get a 2nd chance at being a P4 player if HS does not go well (injuries or whatever) but still it sounds weird that the NCAA would be ok with EA pushing in a video game
