Bama, Tennessee, and LSU are all better than TCU.

They shouldn’t have lost if they were so good, but they did. It’s not like it wasn’t within their control. South Carolina and Texas A&M. Yuck.

Who else heard "You got the big guy coming in on you...can feel em" followed by "he's got a mouth full of Jalen Carter right there."

Now "this guy is a load inside." They can't get enough gay innuendos in this broadcast.

Those teams would all be unbeaten against TCUs schedule. South Carolina would beat TCU right now.

Still using the “offense needs to give their defense a blow” line.

Always cracked us up back in the day when our high school basketball coach would tell us to “go give Jason a blow”

I’m watching the Tulane game,… I can’t stand those two SEC nut guzzlers, hearing they’re getting all man love reference heavy is unsurprising

Yes but they had to face titans like Arkansas, Missouri and Florida unfortunately.

K St beat Missouri by 30 btw

Because ratings.

That’s your opinion but we will never know. TCU beat every team in their conference & lost a rematch in OT. If UGA lost today, no one would think twice about them still being in the CFP. You can’t apply different rules to conferences based on perception.

South Carolina lost by two TDs to Arkansas so my opinion is NO…they wouldn’t beat TCU. LSU? LOL. They lost to FSU in the opener & then lost to TAMU in their last game & are getting worked right now by UGA…so NO. If they’re gonna cry about it they should join the B12.

I would agree. I do think Bama would beat TCU personally but to me Bama didn't win when it mattered most.
I agree. I’d pick Bama to win but the required regular season games still have to be won. Otherwise, the CFP may as well just put the same four teams in every season (Bama, UGA, Clemson, OSU) regardless of regular season results.

It's too bad this is all happening right as we go to a 12-team playoff, because it won't matter so much in the playoff, but I will miss being able to point to 2022 whenever someone says "But Notre Dame didn't win its conference Paawwwll!"

2016 Ohio State and 2017 Bama never made their CCGs and still made the playoffs.

As to stop bumping the USC thread, this is what would have happened in reality of a 12 team playoff. Only team out of luck due to the AQ is Washington.

Wait a second. The Rose Bowl was holding out on playoff expansion because they couldn’t be guaranteed to have it on New Year’s Day but this year’s Rose Bowl isn’t even today?!

I literally just asked my wife what time it was on today and just saw it was tomorrow. Hilariously ironic that was the hill they were willing to die on only to bow down to the NFL this year.
