I was and still am fully convinced that is why he headed to condom land so quick after Oklahoma announced its move to the SEC. Knew his gimmick offense and shit defenses would lead to him getting his shit packed in regularly

Pedo State job is fine. The problem is, it's probably the 6th best job in the Big 10 and that is being generous, and they have clinically insane fans and Ohio State expectations. The math doesn't work.

I'm still hearing some credible sources say that Lane is waiting to see what happens in the Iron Bowl tomorrow and if DeBoer and Bama decide to see other people. If so, he'll turn LSU down regardless of their offer, and head to Tuscaloosa as if Archibald's was giving away free ribs.

I still think the odds of Kiffin to Bama are rather low, but by no means "virtually zero" so to speak. Maybe 10%. We'll know a lot more in the next 48 hours, I imagine. Not a bad time to be Lane right now.

The best thing to happen to Lane Kiffin was to bottom out & get fired in humbling fashion at SC. I think he did a great job of regrouping and reinventing himself. I mean I’m glad he’s not at SC right now.

I’m sure it was either pre-meditated, someone devised it for him or he’s a helluva an interview but he handled the question about him leaving w/ a great perspective when asked what his players were thinking during this time that they’re a CFP contender. He said something to the effect of “this ain’t the old days, they’re thinking about where they’re gonna be next year not stressing over where I’m gonna be…”

Doesn’t get him off the hook but it’s good perspective that it’s a new world where players, coaches & ADs come and go year-to-year. The only thing that stays the same are the fans.
