We don't have any impressive wins. It would be hard to justify us at #3.
Any chance MSU jumps us?
Any chance MSU jumps us?
Good chance Sparty and TCU jump us.
I'll riot if they do. The sparty love is comical.
Good chance Sparty and TCU jump us.
Why? For beating michigan by less than what ND did?
^This.
I don't see why MSU would jump us after beating a team by 24 points, a team we beat by 31 (ahem 37). This same team also never entered the red zone or scored a point. Our only loss was a controversial 4 pt loss to the #2 team in the country. MSU got crushed by then #3 Oregon by 19 points...
All true but they're 7-1 and we had a bye. Some voters will vote from your prospective; others won't.
I'd be surprised if we jump Ole Miss. Or if Michigan State jumps us. But who knows.
I will say, the more of this season I watch, the more I doubt more than one team makes it out of the SEC with one loss, and the more I doubt anyone makes it out of the Pac-12 with just one loss. That does nothing but help our chances.
Really, what we need to worry most about is beating ASU, Louisville and USC. Do that and we're fine.
SC looks like it just got loss number three.
7-win Sark is still at it I see. 5-3 and still has Washington State, Cal, UCLA, ND. I see 7-5...
Good chance Sparty and TCU jump us.
No chance TCU does.
Sparty/OSU
Ducks/Utah
Auburn/Ole Miss
All playoff elimination games coming this Saturday for all of these teams who each have just the one loss.
Reasoning?
I think they should jump Sparty
If MSU looks impressive in a W, and we don't, I can then see them jumping us. We need to impress this weekend.
Anyone see the pick play that won the Utah v USC game? More obvious OPI than what was called on us. Check out the very last play of the game.
MSU ahead of us and Oregon is the most ridiculous thing. Auburn... who just struggled with bad South Carolina... being #4 isn't much better.

Auburn or Bama will take care of itself...
Oregon and MSU are the problem. I stand by my stance that Oregon is overrated, but it sure doesn't help if they put away Stanford easily next week.
MSU as conference champion might be a problem though.
If Oregon handles Stanford easily, doesn't that give them claim to not being over rated?
