Bears fans should've known. We can't have nice thingsI was there last night and will fondly remember that moment the rest of my life. Watching the sh*t-eating grins of Bears fans turn into open mouths of disbelief was beyond satisfying. So was watching Caleb crumble in person for the 2nd straight year.
Caleb put his team in position to win at the end of the 4th. He is already better than Fields. The 2nd and 5 Williams converted on that last drive is a glimpse of what we've seen this year that should provide some hope. They have to continue to address the offense in the offseason to get to the next tier.
Tyrique Stevenson addressed the team today and apologized.
I am still questioning whether this is the coaching staff that is going to be able to get the final roster product of Ryan Poles to a Super Bowl. I think Eberflus can coordinate a defense. I am reserving judgement on everything else.
Justin Fields has not set the world on fire in Pittsburgh thus far either. I think they're at least pointed in the right direction.
I think CW is a fine player but one of those Td's he literally just handed the ball off to Swift who had an unbelievable run lol, let's calm down on him "leading" them on that driveCaleb had two TD's late and put his team in position to win the game. For that alone, he has already proven to be better than Fields.

I think those games were more impactful in terms of stakes, but this game was A LOT more embarrassing in a vacuum.People who claim that loss was worse than Double Doink need to touch grass. Last night was embarrassing. Double Doink happened when there were Super Bowl hopes.
Even the Week 17 Conte game is worse than last night.
Some people will never learn.
It's horse shit. More trash feeding a certain narrative about him. He never said it.That can’t be a real quote.
I think the Hail Mary opened up this conversation a bit more, and the question was being posed last year as well.If the Hail Mary doesn't happen, the narrative is that the Bears' defense shut down the Commanders where it mattered most, and CW is a winner that turned it on in the 4th. Everything would have been noise.
There are problems that need to be addressed, and quite frankly, there needs to be a serious evaluation of whether Flus is the guy and if the coaching staff is set up for long-term success. CW is fairly low on the list of problems.
The playcalling stinks and Caleb ain’t much better.
I think Poles is fine. I question the coachingI'm starting to question if Poles is the guy... bad place to be
I agree with the bolded but there are 2 things as to why I'm starting to question things:I think Poles is fine. I question the coaching
The more things change the more things stay the same.. Never investing in the line. Its infuriating.. None of these first round QBs ever have a chance with a shit OL. Its been this way for way too long.62, 73, and 65 need to go elsewhere. 76 and 58 are a good start for the OL. I'm 42, the Bears havent drafted a franchise LT since I was 2 years old with Jimbo Covert #6 in the 1983 draft. That is unacceptable. The lack of addressing center since Olin has been a disaster too. Olin was bullish on Mustipher and mad at the shit he was getting from the media.. I tend to agree with 57. the rest of the line blew.
