They know they will have a very hard time breaking through to Raider fans in the area and might be thinking if they align with the Dodgers they can back door some of that demographic over time.....

I mean, many sports teams in the same sport/league have very similar color schemes...

Just off memory in baseball you have the Nats, Angels, Braves, Phils, Ranges, Twins all with the same basic colors and this weekend the Pats and Texans will be on the same field just for starters...

These are the worst unis the Chargers have ever had imo, not that they're terrible, just in comparison to all the other variations they've had.... any other powder blue and every other shade of blue has been better... though I do love the older powder blues no doubt....

I'm glad to see that it so obvious how the Chargers will not do good in LA. Among other reasons, all the Raider fans in LA (like myself) will never support the Chargers (forget the fact that they are an 'in-division' rival). I have been been saying the same thing in many threads:

No one in LA wants the Chargers, it will take the Chargers a few years to figure that out, and few more years to start looking to move again.

From talking to other fans here, the only way they will be successful is if they rebrand the team and start over.

I don't see that working either. LA has never supported pro football. LA is supposed to be a Raiders town and even they couldn't make it work.

Maybe they will make another big splash and steal Grigson and Pagano from the Colts!!!

In fairness this was more Davis being Davis than it 'not working'... but it's totally fair to question LA's interest in having a pro football team in general.

Yeah those were cool... and actually looked like they fit the era they were in... the current ones with the throwback scheme but futuristic numbers and bolt always looked out of sorts to me.

On another note: so glad I have this Kodi for NFL now, can just watch the Browns or Packers every weekend,... the worst thing about teams moving here is every Sunday was a Rams game... now it'll be nothing but the Chargers and Rams... I like the Chargers but have been turned off during the Rivers era, can't stand that guy....

Sports Devil.... works great... not always HD but you get the game just fine... I got to watch the last three Browns games here in Los Angeles instead of being force fed another Rams game for like the 10th straight week...
