Like I said, I'd have to go back and re-listen to the podcast. They sort of explained their choices. I've forgotten what they said about each of these three guys and why ND could be option.

I think it was Aranda that they said had PA ties, but they admitted that they hadn't done a ton of research yet. Like you said, it's a wish list. Everybody seems to throw out the same names.

Vandy's DC is head coach Derek Mason, and while they have struggled I imagine he will get through at least year 4.

I don't have an issue with dropping linemen into coverage, but IMO for it to be effective, it has to be used sparingly, like once or twice a game. Then line the LB's up on the LOS to make the QB think the entire front seven or eight are coming. LB's have a shorter route to the QB and the O-line doesn't know who they need to block.

This. An can we fix whatever our issue is with the fake blitzing. Putting LB's and DB's at the line leaning in does nothing when they bail out 3 seconds before the snap.

Luke and Tranquil have no excuse. I have seen both make solid tackles last year. what bothers me about these two guys is they walk around like the cock of the walk and they are being more cuckolded than anything. Depends. If they go 1-7 or 0-8 in the SEC he could be gone. Now if he can pull a 3-5 or better in the SEC, I think that he gets another year.
