Marcus Freeman + An absolute home run AHC/OC would work for me. Buchner panning out is almost as important as the HC decision tbh. We'll know after 2-3 year whether he's the guy and at the very least, our talent level will be in a strong spot for his successor. Not convinced Fickell will provide the extra "oomph" that ND needs to take a step.

CFB Arms Race has certainly accelerated and the Athletic Department and University as a whole needs to put up or shut up. It can not be overemphasized how unprecedented this is. A successful coach left The University of Notre Dame for a opportunity he deemed to be "better". Truly embarrassing.
