Whereas for most fans, 2-5 starts to the season are just another day in the park?
When the facts change, I change my opinion. What do you do?
I try to look at the bigger picture and realize Kelly has done a lot of good things and has done nothing to warrant a midseason firing. His buyout is too big and it's one pathetic year.
The most difficult thing in all of this were the lofty expectations. We all were naive enough to believe we could reload that quickly but with a shite defensive coach and a very young team on the field, we don't appear to have the endurance or experience to hang.
Write this year off, see what BK does next year and then we can begin talking about making a coaching change.
Best case scenario for someone like you, is if BK pursues a different HC position. If he does, then we don't have the buyout, can immediately hit the restart button and watch 20% of our recruits follow Kelly to LSU or wherever else he ends up.
Kelly is still a damn good coach. I think this year serves as a great reminder for Kelly.
I'm sure your reply with have a lot of "year 7" in it. May as well just assume i don't agree.
