I love BQ but I also want to see Tebow succed. He has so much hate for no apparent reason. He's a fantastic football player AND a fantastic person. You don't see that very often.

As a Steelers fan, my only significant concern is that BQ plays in this game. I am very confident with Tebow in there, despite Pittsburgh's injuries.

As an ND fan I actually hope that BQ does well, just not well enough to put the result in jeopardy.

Sounds like his role is A.) 3rd down package, and B.) if they get down big and need to come back in a time-efficient manner.

Go BQ, but more so go Pittsburgh Steelers!

Ok, so I'll reply to myself -> Boy, am I stupid!!!

..Man 2011 sports year has sucked for me...

Sloan quits, and the Jazz Dump DWill...then proceed to SUCK.

ND Football...well we were all there for that.

Steeler Football...just an injury-filled stinker ending in getting Te-boned.

Pirates...well they just aren't relevant...and watching paint dry is better than a Pirate game anymore...

The good news is 2012 is already here...how I've not become a raging alcoholic is beyond me.

The other day I thought I heard the Jets might have expressed an interest in Brady Quinn? Did anyone else hear that?

I've been screaming for the Bills to trade a mid-round pick for Clausen, but at this point I'd also take BQ as a FA signing.

crazy how the path of Quinn may be the same path for Clausen.

I really hope that he gets a chance somewhere... maybe one of the teams who miss out on RGIII or Flynn or Manning will be interested.

I just hate to see two former ND qbs stuck at #2 on the chart

sounds butthurt. He may be right, but saying it like that in a magazine just makes him look like a b****.

Quinn is definitely butthurt.
"Praying in front of the cameras instead of with his teammates.." ???
Are you serious Brady? This coming from a ND guy??
I am so glad we have gotten rid of this attitude from our previous regimes where they felt entitled to everything, from Quinn to Clausen to Brian Smith.

Quinn is an avid Catholic, but he's not up in your face about it like tebow is. And by the way that "attitude" lead us to two straight BSC Bowls.

I thought he was Methodist or Lutheran. I seem to remember Pat Haden talking about that during games. Doesn't matter either way though.

Quinn is a solid guy. Those quotes are out of context. He did voiced his displeasure earlier in the season over Tebow going in before him.

He is not staying in Denver next year so I don't think he is overly concerned with being PC for the head management there. Where do you guys think he ends up?

i hate jim harbaugh but id like to see quinn get a chance there, if they dont hitch their wagon to alex smith, which they may. just hoping he lands somewhere with a legit shot to play.

That would be a perfect fit for Quinn. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs went after him. Its been rumored that they have tried to trade for him in the past.

Brady Quinn @BQ9

The comments attributed to me in a recent magazine article are in NO WAY reflective of my opinion of Tim and the Broncos. Tim deserves a lot of credit for our success and I'm happy for him and what he accomplished. Most importantly, he is a great teammate. That interview was conducted three months ago, and the resulting story was a completely inaccurate portrayal of my comments. I have addressed my disappointment with the writer and have reached out to Tim to clear this up. I apologize to anyone who feels I was trying to take anything away from our Team's or Tim's success this season.

Yeah and count me among those who agree with the comments to begin with. Especially those about the Bears game being luck - it was. I'm a Bears fan, and if Marion Barber doesn't inexplicably go out of bounds, and then fumble in OVERTIME, the Bears win that game. Not to mention that our quarterback was CALEB HANIE.

On a lighter note, I too would love to see Brady get some opportunity somewhere. The problem is that he hasn't had the Matt Schaub type backup hype to warrant a team dealing a mid round pick to make him the starter. Teams nowadays usually either sign the front line starter or build through the draft. I'm thinking that he's going to deal with the same situation somewhere that he deals with now in Denver - having to go win out a spot. Arizona? Seattle? Washington? Miami? All of those teams may draft quarterbacks anyways.

I like Quinn because he was Irish but I hope the 49ers don't have any interest in him. If they do, Jim Harbaugh would be the best thing to ever happen to BQ's career.

Quinn is my favorite ND player of all time... but, I'm an even bigger Tebow fan... I still believe Tebow will be successful if he changes his throwing motion, and i hope Brady's comments were taken out of context... but anyway, does anyone else think the Seahawks would be perfect for him? You've got Lynch at running back, who's pretty solid, Developing O-Line, Threats in Mike Williams, Rice, and even Tate, Carleson who he's familiar with, Zach Miller who's also a very good receiving TE, and finally Pete Carroll, who i despised at the college level, but he runs a system i think Brady would be perfect for. Ive been saying since Carroll landed in SEA that Quinn or Clausen could shine in that system. I'd rather Brady get the chance, but i think the Seahawks could really benefit from one of these two.

The writer tweeteed that Brady was not bitter but the quotes are accurate (and he has them on tape).

But that's just the point: the quotes themselves are not critical per se, but they seem to suggest bitterness. If the writer admits that Brady wasn't bitter, he's essentially admitting that he took the quotes out of context and portrayed Brady in a false light.
