RFK Jr.? That would been straight outta the cognitive decline frying pan and into the complete kook fire.

Do these dum dums realize that the individual parties can change the rules as they please to nominate whom ever they want? In fact that has been pretty common practice throughout history.

Case in point:

“In 1912, the first year in which a presidential candidate, two-time President Theodore Roosevelt, tried to secure his nomination through primary elections, nine states elected delegates that supported Roosevelt. Incumbent William Howard Taft won only one primary election. Despite Roosevelt's wholesale victory of the popular vote, Taft received the Republican nomination because only 42% of the delegates who attended the nominating convention had been selected through primary elections. The rest had been selected by party bosses who supported Taft and succeeded in granting him their party's nomination.”

All this coup talk is stupid. It’s more akin to shareholders forcing out a CEO.

Loyalty, respect and basic humanity count. Kamala has been all that to Biden. She has been ride or die with him. I can respect that.

She should be next in line.

Haha. I suppose.

The administration she was a part of was ready to sign a bipartisan border reform bill in a good faith attempt to do just that.

Trump blew that up and his GOP toadies fell in line.

It was a bad bill with tons of pork. Plus 5+ million had already crossed the border at that point.

I work in Midtown Manhattan and the crisis has totally fucked the quality of life here. I’ve altered my commute and avoid certain streets now bc of the migrant shelters across the area.

So bad that a significant amount of GOP members were ready to pass it until Trump piped up.

You know what they say about perfection…it’s the biggest obstacle to progress.

Thanks Trump!

Welp, gotta give credit where credit is due.

At least there’s one party willing to sideline their candidate who was demonstrably unfit for office.
Which leads to the question that will be asked over & over: “If he’s unfit for office, why isn’t he stepping down immediately?” Should the US (& the free world) really be led by a POTUS who his own party urged to bow out of the next election b/c he was unfit for office?

...and can speak in complete sentences.
Seriously, have you heard her speak??? She's the queen of run-on sentences and can talk for an hour and say absolutely nothing. As others have said, it's like listening to a kid give a book report on a book they haven't read. Just a mountain of verbal salad.

Well, you’re in luck then. Trump has promised to deport all of them….and we know he’s a man of his word. I wonder if Mexico’s gonna pay for it?

Do you really believe this? 😂
Indeed I do, I never once said she was right or wrong in that thinking but she’s absolutely going to play that card. She is a politician after all.

I’ll eat crow if she never utters those words but I would be stunned if she doesn’t

The Dems didn't do this.

They were 100% willing to go with this.

She’s African American, went to a HBCU, was a tough on crime DA and Attorney General during a period when California and San Francisco saw some of their lowest crime rates ever (JD Vance was loving it!) and can speak in complete sentences.

That reads like a wet dream candidate for a GOP ticket honestly.
When did she start speaking complete sentences? This would be an impressive development

Wow, playing the moral high ground card 😂

If Biden were leading in the polls and an actual corpse the party would still be backing him. Comedic and out of touch take.

This, this times a 1000

Let’s not forget the whole democratic side of the political world knew about his declining health for years. They only did something about it now because trump was ahead in the polls. But hey the democrats are trying to stop a fascist 🤣

No.

One party got rid of their unfit candidate.

The other didn’t.

I’m just stating pretty basic facts.

Kamala the Cop can win.

Kamala the Woke cannot.

The Republican playbook is likely going to be paint her as “California” crazy and out of touch with normal people. It probably works, but maybe not. Really depends on who she chooses to listen to because Biden had advisors who were trash.

Let us know when you’re the AG of North Dakota or DA of Fargo…
You seem to think titles imply intelligence. The AG here is smart. I've had the chance to meet him. Not sure if the State's Attorney in Cass County is smart. I do not know them

I just can’t see Kamala being anymore appealing to voters in PA and Michigan than Biden, but maybe bringing Whitmer or Shapiro can change that.

I don't think they will spend a ton of time trying to paint her as crazy. The same policy failures that would've hit Biden will be linked to her. She will get hit extra hard over immigration since she was the Immigration Czar who only visited the border once.

Just not sure why people would vote Kamala. Dems seem to have backed themselves in a corner.

Reset would probably be the best play.

Probably, but I saw someone put it this way, paraphrasing: "Kamala is the DEI hire. She was brought on board for the minority vote. If we kick her to the curb now we lose all credibility." It wouldn't be a good look.

Yup - Biden stated he wanted his VP to be a woman of color in 2020. They made their own bed.
