Here’s something else to consider. The last three republican administrations have exited with the economy in tatters which the incoming democratic successors had to then deal with. It’s a pretty distinct pattern at this point.
Yeah gas and food are much cheaper than under Trump.

This may come off as racist, but why is it so important for the federal government to provide aid to Black and Latino individuals? I don't see how that's government's role

Those policies should be ruled unconstitutional just like affirmative action in college admissions
The federal government provides aid/subsides to all kinds of people.

Mostly rich white guys I would imagine if one takes into account all the bailouts, farm subsidies and bloated defense budgets. Alas, that’s a topic for another day.

Prediction sure to go wrong: Hillary will be the Democratic nominee to face off against Trump. And this time she will win.

It's been a matter of when not if for the past few weeks. He shouldn't have dragged it out this long.

Now he needs to resign. The media knows he should. But all the media wanted was for him to drop out of the election. The criticism of Biden by the media will stop as quickly as it started.

Just pray nothing happens the last 6 months that will require any brain function.

Joe just pushed for and endorsed Kamala to replace him. Does she have to be the nominee if previous donations were for the Biden/Harris ticket, or does it not matter? Seeing a lot of "campaign experts" online saying different things, but my guess is it doesn't matter. Either way, I'm not sure Kamala is the right answer for the Dems. I think Trump would destroy her in a debate, and her polling numbers are awful.

I'm assuming that one of the main reasons Biden didn't want to drop out was that it would open up the question of....

How can you be unfit to run for office while at the same time be fit enough to fulfill the rest of his term.

That’s exactly the case Republicans will likely make.

In ‘68 when LBJ announced he wouldn’t run for reelection, he never endorsed his VP for the election. That led to the last contested convention…in Chicago. It was also the last violent convention. Ironically, this year’s convention will be in Chicago.

All the big names from the DNC will now release glowing press releases about his “great career & record” and all his “wonderful” contributions to our country. Gotta keep up their end of the deal. LOL

Next six months should go swimmingly.

He's just out of the race

This is the smartest thing the Dems have done since keeping Biden hidden in the basement for the entire 2020 campaign. With that said, Harris pulled in less than 1% in the 2020 Dem primary, is as intelligent as a wet mop, and I still see Trump winning this.

Doesn't seem like a good choice to tweet something like this. Besides having terrible likeability rankings, Kamala will have to be able to respond to the fact that she saw the decline of Biden first hand, day after day. Still went out and lied to the American public, day after day. The other issue will be immigration. Biden annointed her the immigration czar. She visited the border once. Immigration is one of the top issues in this election and she is culpable.

Can the Dems really go with Kamala? Let's be honest here, they aren't pushing Joe aside because he's demented and incompetent and unable to run the country. They've known that for at least a year and probably two or three years. They've pushed him out for one reason: he can't win in November. Is Kamala any better for them, though? She's almost as likely to get eaten alive in a debate with Trump and lose handily as Joe. I see a lot of problems with not backing her, but she's all but a guaranteed loss, too.

Jill and Hunter pushed for him to stay in the race. I wonder what they did to placate them?

Just not sure why people would vote Kamala. Dems seem to have backed themselves in a corner.

Reset would probably be the best play.
She’s African American, went to a HBCU, was a tough on crime DA and Attorney General during a period when California and San Francisco saw some of their lowest crime rates ever (JD Vance was loving it!) and can speak in complete sentences.

That reads like a wet dream candidate for a GOP ticket honestly.

Welp, gotta give credit where credit is due.

At least there’s one party willing to sideline their candidate who was demonstrably unfit for office.
Pretty wild eh? Can’t believe the law and order party was given an absolute lay up to get rid of their terrible candidate. Of course, that would require them to have any sort of principles lol.

Also the biggest of lol’s at the “they did a coup on Joe! Just like with Bernie!” Except voter support wasn’t there for Joe and donors were aligned with removing Joe.

All she had to do was protect the boarder.

Haha. I suppose.

The administration she was a part of was ready to sign a bipartisan border reform bill in a good faith attempt to do just that.

Trump blew that up and his GOP toadies fell in line.
