Democrats are talking about electability because the alternative — talking about how he physically can’t do the job *right now* — implies that he should get the 25th Amendment or otherwise removed from office and that’s rife with complications for them.

But won’t get it twisted, while some only care about winning, the *reason* people are trying to push him out is *because it’s clear he is mentally gone.* If he was mentally with it but down a few points in the polls, no one would be talking about replacement just because he’s probably going to lose. Black unemployment hit a record low in 2023.

Unemployment for Latinos is at 4.9%. Pretty sure that’s basically “full employment” or very close for that group.

If we’re being honest every major metric (crime, inflation, employment, stock market, wages) seem to be or have been moving in the right direction. That would seem to indicate this administration and congress as presently constituted did a really good job with the post pandemic recovery. Is there still more that could be done? Sure.
