I'm on episode 8 of Ozark. I hated the pilot, but the show got better as I gave it a chance. Really looking forward to how they wrap season 1.

I challenge ANYONE to post a picture of Natalia Dyer where she is HAF. What use is it to be a legal adult if you look like a 14 y/o who just walked out of Dachau?

My wife was watching some of the Stranger Things season wrap up/interview show on Netlflix and I sat down to some of it... wished I hadn't some of the real life actors came off as super annoying/douchey...

Although I work with someone who has a son that does set design and such and worked with Caleb McLaughlin on Lion King for about a year. He states McLaughlin could not be a nicer kid, super down to earth considering the stardom that hit over the last year. They still text often and stay in touch.

Steve deserves better...

Probably true, tbh. Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton are an item IRL, despite Charlie getting denied entry to the US at Customs for the Stranger Things 2 premier due to traces of cocaine being discovered in his luggage. So Nancy opted for a British coke-head over this perfectly coiffed 80s hero:

That's one of the things that's so great about that show... it set up tons of 80s paint by number film stereotypes (dickwad boyfriend, do-nothing town sheriff, etc..) and just denied being trapped by any of them...

Same here. Loved the touching innocence on display in the Snow Ball ending. And Steve Harrington >>> Jonathan Byers. Rethink this, Nancy.

I was just sad for Dustin, though it makes sense. If the Duffers were going to have Will picked up by a random girl, they can't do it again with Dustin. Especially with his cleidocranial somethingorother. Overall Season 2 was still very good.

It's no coincidence that Dustin became Steve's apprentice, and Steve ends up unattached. The Duffer brothers are clearly setting them both up for religious life. Joyce, Nancy and Jonathan obviously needed a cleric (D&D reference very much intended) during the scene where they exorcised Will at Hopper's cabin.

Dude he does look like River Phoenix!!!... also the kid that played crazy step brother looked a lot like Jared Leto, at least the 90s version.

Crazy step brother looks like Zac Efron if he was an mullet wearin', Arkansas fan in the 80's and drove an IROC-Z

Nah, being spurned does not turn a young man to the religious life. Realizing that detaching from the world is best for you (Eleven) and a turn away from your previous life (Nancy) or just desire to live a quiet life of introspection (Will) leads to the religious/contemplative life.

Let Steve be Thomas More and Dustin be a Knight.

Wait a second. Are you telling me you didn't see the cinematic masterpiece that was 17 Again?

My mother-in-law couldn't afford cable growing up, so my wife felt deprived of all the Disney shows she never got to watch. After we got married, I was subjected to a solid 5-years of High School Musical, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, etc. Must have been penance for the sins of my dissolute youth.

When High School Musical came out, my sisters were 14 and 9. It was never not on in my house. I'm convinced that "Breaking Free" was the musical inspiration for this little number from Frozen.
