Every parents worst nightmare man... his story line took the show from really good to all time great imo.

The main kid from season one (The one that houses 11 and has the crush on her) was significantly less likable in the second season... frankly he was a little shit.

Agreed. The writing kinda fell off season 2 tbh.

Between Narcos, Stranger Things & Ozark, Netflix is killing it!!!!

Just finished Ozark finally and loved it. Its got that Walking Dead, nobody's safe, kind of thing going for it. Jason Bateman is doing a fantasitc job. So many directions it can go in season 2.

I agree, but I think it was a good addition... an integral part of growing up is the moody/angsty/jealous/unsure thing when it comes to "boys and girls," and I thought it was a useful portrayal of how this kid was handling his "heartbreak" while things started falling apart around them all over again.

Agreed. The writing kinda fell off season 2 tbh.

I thought the writing was fine aside from Eleven's adventure in Chicago, but that was clearly just to set up a barely-connected spinoff in the future if they want it.

Like I said above, I think they got nearly everything perfect in terms of the kids acting like real kids, including Mike acting like a grumpy shithead in Eleven's absence, while some other girl shows up to "take her place" (in his mind).

The Punisher.

Holy hell. It is fantastic.

Having a hard time getting to these episodes as I am not watching it in front of my kid, so gotta wait until about 10, then my wife isn't a big fan so gotta be sure she is done with her Hallmark/FreeFrom/Up/Lifetime/etc Christmas movies before I can flip over.

That being said, got episodes 10 & 11 in last night...very intense

Just 2 more to go!

I watched the first episode of Ozark last night. It was definitely good enough to keep watching.

Peaky Blinder season 4 is out!!!!!

I thought Manhunt:Unabomber was really good. Not sure how accurate it is but I always enjoy the "how did they catch him" shows.

Changed my mind.
So much happened in the first episode that it could've been half a season.
I wish they slow played it a bit because the show screeches to a halt once they hit Mizzou.
Then throw in the obligatory gay stuff by episode three and i'm out.

Although not a show, I'm 7 minutes into the Netflix original movie Blight and I've had my first 'what the fuck' moment. I anticipate many more over the horizon. This one is weird. The racial and social metaphors are thick; palpable.

Keep at it. Ozark is really really good, imo. I almost stopped watching after the first episode, because I agree, they crammed so much into it. But the season progresses nicely. I'm looking forward to S2.

Watched the Crown season 1, John Lithgow is fantastic as Churchill

I was rewatching some "Dexter" episodes, this weekend, because Showtime was running some marathons. Lithgow is probably one of the more underappreciated actors, out there. His ability to play anything from goofballs to sociopaths is awesome.

Trinity is my second favorite villain on Dexter. Lithgow was fantastic, in that role.

Have always liked his work, 3rd rock from the sun was goofy as hell but he was great.
