So I didn't get to meet up with coach Hiestand as planned because we got up there later than planned. (It happens when your traveling with a 5 and 3 year old.) That's alright though. I'm sure I'll meet him sometime soon. I think we can expect more and more running toughness with Hiestand on staff though. Anyone notice our guys always having their hands in the dirt? Hiestand.

First off, thanks for all the birthday wishes, again.

Second, I hear it may be Bogtrotter and ACamp's birthdays?! Congrats boys! Or should I say, congratulations you old farts! Hope you two have had a good birthday! I'm glad to know you both.

Just realized that the last 3 reps I have received have all been because of my own sarcasm...I guess I should keep that up. I barely find time to get on nowadays and unfortunately all I get to do is read crap posts and make sarcastic rebuttals.

Grammar corrections... that's where it's at...

Good grammar never grows old. Constantly pointing out errors less so.

By the way ... there should be a space at each end of an ellipsis, unless, of course, it's at the end of a statement. In that case the space is only needed at the front end. Oh, and ending a sentence in a preposition is generally a no-no. Unless an idiomatic expression is what the sentence is based on.

Just sayin'.

You're welcome.

Sarcasm and funny comments are where my reps come from. Probably not a good thing but I guess it's better than nothing. Here's one I should have given you for your b-day Beau:

Had a dream we lost to FSU by a touchdown (34-27). We had our blue jerseys, they their white. It may have been the NC game.

That wasn't a dream. That happened yesterday, January 7. Tommy Rees threw for 423 yards and cemented himself as next year's Heisman favorite.

I woke up immediately after this dream PISSED because I missed the game.

Help! I need a prime example of a former football player of Notre Dame putting their degree to use and a source if possible!

Alan Page graduated with a Bachelor's in political science. After his HOF NFL career, he became an associate justice on the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Page would be my first choice as well. I'm sure that there are plenty of online resources documenting his life. Rocky Bleier would be a good choice as well.

Cwynar would make a good example, too. Managed to get his MBA in 4 years, and then turned down a 5Y because it didn't make sense financially. If anything demonstrates ND's superior degree value, that's it.

"Another year of tuition-free education at ND? No thanks. My current earning potential is too high to offset the opportunity cost."

I wanted to use Cwynar, but I couldn't find a story about what he is doing now.

Well, now I'm using Alan Page and Sean Cwynar, anymore examples?
