I agree. It normally does take care of itself. You know, even if we went 12-0 and were #3 in the nation I would be okay. In fact, if we went 13-0 and wound up #2 in the polls, it would be okay.

As for me, I won't even start thinking about the bowl game, until after the Pitt game. If we are 9-0 heading into BC, then maybe I start thinking about it.

Yeah. Arizona showed what a good, high speed, high octane offense can do to USC. Oregon is obviously even better than UA.

I won't feel comfortable until Kansas State loses. Oklahoma State could do what happened to them last year, cost a Big 12 team a shot at the national championship.

Stanford is a better team than USC though. We'll have Oregon's 2 best wins as our 2nd and 3rd best wins. It's too bad Denard got hurt last night because I was banking on them rising late to help our schedule.

It's not exactly daunting, but OSU is quietly a decent team, TCU is a tough road trip and who knows what state Texas will be in come the last week of the season. They look awful right now but there's a lot of talent there. Remember, this is college football.

Right now KSU and ND have identical computer polls, but USC will be a much bigger win than all of those. It will give us a bump and all we need are coaches and old dudes to prefer us to KSU.

There are no final BCS Rankings.

I'm not sure about the Harris Poll, but the AP and Coaches do release final rankings. Very rarely -- if ever -- has the loser of the NCG stayed at #2.

I'm the opposite. K State has been solid, even on the road. I've watched the team and I think they play well disciplined football vs ranked opponents. ND did against OU for sure too.

Oregon beat up on Colorado yesterday. The O on the helmets represents how many ranked teams they have beaten. Oregon stays at #2 for accomplishing the same feat as Sacramento State. WTF?

KSU at least can make the argument to be top 3. Oregon?! F Oregon.

Who is going to be Oregon's signature win in December? USC? Stanford? Got that.

Who is going to be KSU's signature win in December? OU @ Norman? Got that too.

It will be interesting. I'd like to see the offense put up some serious stats in the next 3 weeks and really finish strong.

I think KSU is legit though. Bama could fall in Baton Rouge next week. Oregon needs to disappoint, then it's on to battle AARP himself (IMHO).
