A lot of B1G and ND alums that already have die hard commitments on Saturdays.Chicago isn't a college sports town. No one is going to care.

$4M to be paid in Iowa football discrimination suit; Kirk Ferentz 'disappointed' in result
A lawsuit that was filed in November 2020 claiming Kirk Ferentz oversaw a racially discriminatory culture has reached a settlement agreement.www.desmoinesregister.com
Seriously? Writing checks this big has to have an impact.Kirk Ferentz really has a teflon kind of vibe about him. The Iowa administration is going to just keep on keeping on I guess.
As a tax payer in Iowa, it's fucking asinine.
I'm not into cancel culture, but when Iowa athletics asks citizens to pay the bill for their issues, it will no doubt rub a lot of Iowans the wrong way.
Fuck the Ferentz'z and fuck the ad gary barta.
They don't. That's why they're historically the same team year in and year out. lolSeriously? Writing checks this big has to have an impact.
And how the hell do they successfully recruit black players?
I'm into consequences. Most regular people like us face them. Ferentz has won football games at Iowa than anyone else, so he doesn't have to. Truth? Your tax dollars have been at work long before this settlement. As a tax payer in Iowa, it's fucking asinine.

Not if you read the comments below his article. Is that source reputable?

You don't think Nike Phil would make a generous donation to B1G research to get Oregon's foot in the door, or would they expected to go a different route? If the B1G could snap it's fingers: ND, UNC, UVA, GT, Florida, Stanford, Washington and wait for it... ASU would be on their final roster.
No ASU is not an AAU institution... yet. But they've got 5,000,000 reasons to be in the B1G and ASU's President Michael Crow is turning ASU into a research monster. There's only one non-AAU school that generates more research $$$ and ASU outpaces many current AAU schools in that data point.
Cal, Duke & Oregon are on the outside looking in.

UCLA gets Michigan, Ohio State, to a lesser extent Iowa, and of course USC in their first year. Welcome to the B1G! Wonder how many of those Away games will be in November for both Cali teams?
I can’t wait to see USC freeze their asses off in late November playing at Michigan or Ohio St. I’ve always wished they would come to South Bend in late November.UCLA gets Michigan, Ohio State, to a lesser extent Iowa, and of course USC in their first year. Yeah, but watch the narrative change when they do struggle with BIG teams in November: "USC sucks, overrated."I can’t wait to see USC freeze their asses off in late November playing at Michigan or Ohio St. I’ve always wished they would come to South Bend in late November.
Please let the football gods make that away game at Northwestern be in November with whipping wind and snow.I can’t wait to see USC freeze their asses off in late November playing at Michigan or Ohio St. I’ve always wished they would come to South Bend in late November.
