The level Schill's incompetence is mind-blowing.

He only read the full investigation report after reading the story published in the student newspaper.

Shades of BLM and the MeToo movement here now, all schools/AD's/football programs gotta be looking at themselves in the mirror now

Biggest shocker in that story is that Fleck has been there seven years. Doesn't seem like he has been there that long. Plus, I don't think most people expected him to be there that long.
Wow, really? Yeah he was supposed to either row the boat right to the top of the heap or flame out and get fired. But mostly Minnesota just keeps on being Minnesota.

He turns 43 this fall. Crazy.

Fleck has gone 11-2, 3-4 (Covid), 9-4 and 9-4 in the last four seasons. He's 26-26 in the Big Ten, 4-0 in Bowls. It's a weird situation because he's a midwest guy that would be out of place just about anywhere in terms of where he's been to this point. You don't have any midwestern blue bloods looking at openings any time soon from where we sit now. We know Big Ten schools pay their football coaches well. He's absolutely not an NFL guy whatsoever I think most would agree.

It's very hard to say where he might go off to and who might be interested. I really liked the guy not long ago, but the more I find out about him the more I wouldn't go near the guy.

Gene Smith will retire June 2024. I believe OSU is the largest athletic department, it’ll be interesting to see who they hire to replace him.
