Phish has been pretty much living up here. They had that at The Glen and then they played another show like 10 minutes from my house

I'm very jealous, but I'll be hitting up Gorge->Tahoe->SF here in about 2 and a half weeks. (Don't worry, I'll still be able to keep the dynasty in order.)

Lol. I guess they had 30,000 for the Watkins Glen Festival. Which is really good considering where Watkins Glen is located

I heard 40K but it's still small for where it's located. I've seen 86 Phish shows, it will be 91 by the time I see this west coast run. My first tour with them ended in Limestone, Maine at a festival called The Great Went, it had 80k present. There was some kind of vibe in the mid/late 90's that had young people wanting to gather that just isn't there anymore..it's kind of sad actually.

(And you have to remember that Phish festivals only consist of one band..Phish)

It has something to do with calculating the star's brightness with something related to the moon. Cool stuff, one of my favorite things to study.

Not sure that this qualifies as "awesome," but it is definitely interesting. Dude is wearing a ND sweatshirt, too, so maybe someone here knows him? Maybe someone here is him? Supposedly this took place in 1997, but judging by the outfits and the fact that there are people smoking in their seats in the video, I'm going to guess its actually much earlier than that.
