Lance Taylor would be an awesome hire. NFL and P5 experience, has coached and recruited elite RBs to an academically restrictive institution. He is the opposite of Mike Hart on resume.

Developed Christian McCaffrey and recruited Bryce Love? Yeah, I’d take him.
Does it matter that aside from RBs at Stanford he looks to have mostly coaches receivers? Probably not, right?

I doubt BK wouldn't be part of the interview process. ISD stated that BK, Swarbrick, and Jenkins are all part of the interview process.

That's what I was thinking. Either that, or they've planned for multiple rounds of interviews. Being we're only really talking about 2 guys at this point, I'd tend to believe they are not doing multiple rounds.

I agree. Hart has potential but Taylor is a known quantity. Really like the hire.

From what I have read is the Hart was a monster on the recruiting trail I certainly hope Taylor can if not this might be a bad hire.

I think Taylo can bring some value though.

What I like about him:
-switched positions from HS to College (RB/WR). Jafar should benefit.
-should improve our RBs in the passing game
-seems articulate, and passionate

What I don't like:
-played for Bama lol. feeling like we're setting ourselves up for a poach in a couple years

That’s fine and in the event it’s true, both hires would have the same negative making that less relevant since it was basically a head to head hire.
