A common thread is Miami fans expect to win because Carr is inexperienced yet also expect to win because of a bunch of unproven guys they have like Malachi Toney and Jordan Lyles

They constantly bring up 2017 too, as if Miami didn't collapse at the end of that season (Along with last season) and they struggle to beat any ranked teams. Meanwhile we've been to the playoff 3 times since, with the most recent playoff appearance last year being our most successful by a wide margin. In short, we've gotten much better since 2017 and had real success, Miami is arguably still the same mediocre team that struggles in big games. We'll see if their new transfers change any of that.

I hope it was just rumors or from back in the 80s but please tell me your fan base has enough class to refrain from throwing bottles of urine & other items at Irish fans?
This did happen in Miami in the 80s. I wasn't there, but my family saw it. Urine, spit, and beer. It was a nasty place back then, no word on any recent matchups.

On the II podcast, the fellas mentioned we should expect to see very little rotation at corner because the freshmen aren’t ready. Just thought that was noteworthy.

What’s funnier is they were one of our 4 wins in the 2016 season. Sucks to suck.

Watching Carr's HS film he was great at running out of the pocket and making something happen on the run

I think bad weather always favors the underdog and the team with less depth. Give me a perfect day for this one.
Not at all, the bad weather actually helps us more. We have the better running game and deeper room. Their qb isn't mobile at all.

I have a different take on this. I think Miami getting impatient vs. the run and getting pass happy would be exactly what we want. I think they are more dangerous on the ground. Also, one thing that I learned over the years coaching, is really bad field conditions adversely affect a running team. Especially if your linemen can't get traction and your backs always slip. Bad weather definitely negates quicker players. That being said, wind is a whole different animal.

That's it might as well dial in ND alternate spread -9.5 because when this clown picks ATS you always fade him.

Weather at game time doesn't look bad at all.

Bad field conditions probably slow down the offenses; to that extent, I would think it benefits ND on balance.
