I think all he's saying is that regardless of what dicta the DSM put in there, basically everyone who claims to be transgender is going to have the requisite symptoms to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria.
Ok, but in order to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria the DSM5 states the below. If someone is comfortable being transgender and is not experiencing clinically significant distress, then they aren't experiencing gender dysphoria. As well, it's not permanent. So people can feel comfortable no matter how hard blazers tries lol.

In order to meet criteria for the diagnosis, the condition must also be associated with clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.

Some people wake up and say good morning to their significant other, in your case you seem to always have a message for me. I am honored to see that.

Also - DSM5 Gender Dysphoria Diagnosis

Remember when I said you guys are obsessed with other people's genitals? You're certainly not doing yourself any favors lol.
You're welcome. Unfortunately the message never gets through to you.

You obviously have no clue the mental health issues that plague the LGBTQ community, especially the trans community. Depression alone is around 70% just in the trans community, not factoring in other issues. Also might be good to know how easily you can classify “significant distress”. I can walk into any clinic right now and tell them I’m sad and it’s clinically distressed enough to prescribe Xanax or whatever else. I used to live in NM. You know easy it was to get my green card to buy Medical marijuana? Clinically significant = anything I want it to mean.

Yeah it's me that doesn't have a clue, not the random dudes on the internet who spend their free time bemoaning the great societal plight of them just existing. I wonder why they suffer from so many mental disorders, everyone is so welcoming!

This discussion has nothing to do with "Another Shooting" so if you want to continue it you can @ me in the culture thread. I swear you guys are more obsessed with trans people than random blue hairs on twitter lmao.

Stop the complete and utter BS. Your coy, phony, intentional misunderstanding and rephrasing of others' positions is boring and tired. Someone rebutting or challenging something you assert is not them obsessing over you or waking up thinking of you. It's you getting your false narrative refuted. Trying to spin it as anything else is why you get bashed about the Toronto Vortex, the nonstop spin and misdirection and dishonest arguing.

Second, nobody is obsessed with trans people's genitals. We're concerned with their mentally disturbed behavior, their insistence that the rest of us should play along with their delusions and even celebrate them, and, most of all, their insistence on pushing all of this on young children. Again, that's you trying to spin it into something it's not to make it easier to argue against. There's a name for that: strawman arguing. It's a sign of being on the wrong side of the facts or being too mentally weak to argue effectively and honestly, or just lacking the integrity to do so.

Now, spin us a clever, BS, dishonest, witty reply that the rest of us will roll our eyes at and laugh about. It doesn't change the fact that your nonsense and spin are obvious. It's become boring and transparent. Step up you game and come back to discussing things intelligently and honestly.

Well , for once, let’s focus on that easy, practical thing instead of diluting it with an abstract. Blame mass shootings on whatever you want. They don’t happen without guns.
And they don't happen without messed up people with damaged outlooks and character. You never told me why you aren't interested in banning cars to prevent drunk driving or penises to prevent rape. The problem is some of you don't understand the difference between cause and means. As I pointed out (and you avoided discussing for obvious reasons), a roomful of guns, a station house full of gun-carrying cops, or an entire military base with thousands of armed soldiers, many of whom are armed with ACTUAL assault weapons rarely if ever results in a shooting. It's not the guns. They're nothing more than the means. It's the people, the lack of character, the mental issues, and the lack of values. You shout about wanting the problem to end and someone should "Do something!" yet you refuse to deal with the underlying issue and do what will work.

Boy, someone was saying they were happy (Think it was Cack or Miller?) about the decorum of these threads recently and then you couldn't hold yourself back eh.

Your insistence of trying to trump yourself up as some elite intellectual is always good for a chuckle. The guy who can never address statistics but always admonishes others on their "style", or the guy who calls others "betas" yet doesn't have the stones to name names, calls others emotional yet can never get through a post without some childish remark, and thinks others are towing party lines yet.....well you know.

Grow up lol. I can rib #1 because (I think?) we both know we're in the muck, but the sooner you realize you're no better the more it will help.

Blah, blah, blah. Nonsense spinning to avoid what I said: that you intentionally misunderstand and misrepresent others' positions because you can't refute them honestly. You're a classic strawman argument sorta guy. Every time you get refuted or rebutted, you spin, twist, dodge, rephrase what the other person said, attempt to derail or deflect from the point being addressed, and engage in what has become all too accurately and humorously known as the Toronto Vortex. I'm just pointing it out.

I’ve tried to change the way I interact with others, especially Bishop and Irish#1, but it’s difficult dealing with someone who’s quite pompous at times and who generally appears to feel superior to people that he disagrees with. Maybe it’s just politics that brings out the worst in people (I know it does for me.)

I'm not pompous. I just have an extremely low tolerance for people who argue in bad faith, and who intentionally and willfully distort others' positions. There are lots of people I disagree with, but would never attack due to the respect I have for them. The only people I go after are those who are either willfully ignorant or willfully dishonest... or both.

Never forget that bish was posting on IE during a Bama national championship game. He wants to call others mentally disturbed lol.
Oh man! Brutal burn. Seriously, that's your best shot? I'll let you in on a little secret: I can multitask with the best of them. There was a thread here on the game. I'm quite capable of watching a game or two, carrying on a conversation, surfing the web, watching the gamecast/stats on ESPN, and chatting on a couple of forums at the same time.

Now, you really want to insult me or hurt my feelings? You should insult my penis size, my IQ, my inability to tell a joke (oh, that one will hurt), make fun of my cooking skills, or tell me that there were other guitarists better than Jeff Beck. You'll crush me. I'll be in tears and unable to go on.

Brother, I provided multiple clear statistics regarding your Portland Walmart claim and you ignored them because you didn't want to address that. You have literally never, ever, posted some sort of statistical backing to any of your claims. It's all emotional appeal and culture war stuff. You called people beta's but can't say who you think is a beta, that will never not be the most the beta move.

You see how others interact with NoDak or Leppy, and why it's different than you? It's because despite political differences they actually can cite sources for their beliefs. We can give each other shit and not get pissy.

Just move on and grow up haha, I can go on and on but I don't think others want to see you having a public meltdown any longer.

So what is your solution? I’ve read your posts for years now, always describing what the problem isn’t (guns) and blaming it on bad character and diminished values. So, how do we fix that? More guns? Don’t be a knucklehead.

I’m all for cops and citizens not being armed, despite the thought that 250 years ago the founding fathers not having the foresight to conceive of AR-15s. What is England’s murder rate? Do schools get shot up every week there? No? Why? Is it because they don’t have cars and dicks or because they don’t allow mouth breathing rednecks to carry guns in public? We both know the answer.

Also, people don’t walk around armed on military bases. Their weapons are locked up in storage until they are being used (by the well-regulated militia). Try walking into a commissary armed and see if you make it to the produce aisle before you are detained. Cars have a practical purpose other than killing, unlike guns. Keep reaching and you are going to pull a muscle.

Dude you literally reacted to one of Cack's posts where he presented some stats on the assault weapons ban by hand waving away all the statistics and responding with some completely hypothetical thought experiment you came up with lol.

I posted a list of my ideas on possible solutions, Toronto posted stats, Cack posted stats, Goirish41,etc. You respond to none of them in any meaningful way and instead just call anyone that thinks we should take any type of measures to regulate firearms emotional, reactionary, and betas. YOU are the one that's constantly arguing here in bad faith.

Cack also posts comedians, straw man videos, and cherry picked data with sources that would hit you like me sharing Breitbart.
