Whoh, buddy. I should ask first "Why are you still here" if this isn't the same board you joined so many years ago. Why open your mouth and paint a target on your back? I was invited by members of BuckeyePlanet to join their board back in 2005 before the Fiesta Bowl game between the Irish and the Buckeyes. Given that I live in Ohio and have no ill will towards their team, I stuck around because most of them were pretty cool (For Buckeyes). We do share some of the same rivals, after all, and we never play each other. However, there are a few Buckeyes out there that detest the Irish even more than TSUN...I'll never really understand it, but it occurs. These guys will say "Fuck the Irish" and plenty of other things that might drive a fan to get themselves banned.

Do I expect that kind of behavior on their board? Of course, it's their board, and everyone is going to have their own opinion. Quite frankly, I find it enjoyable at times to see how much hate some Buckeyes have toward the Irish, how it consumes them. I do what I can to buck the stereotype they have of an Irish fan. Do I think their entire fan base hate on the Irish? Of course not, there's some good posters still on that site after all these years that I enjoy having discussions with. That's one reason I still post there from time to time these days. I also post there as an opposing fan to give my own perspective and bring some variety. That's why I appreciate guys like T-Town and Tom posting here. They're shining examples of fans from other teams (At least in their actions on this board, I can't say what they say to their buddies offline). I appreciate posters like that, I identify with them given my affiliation on BP.

As far as saying "Fuck Michigan," I'd like to just say that I don't really give two shits about Michigan. Don't get me wrong, I hope we run you guys over this year, but I don't really care enough about Michigan to wish ill will towards your University. For the most part, I say "Fuck Michigan" just to say "Fuck Michigan." You don't have to take it personally. There are a few cool Michigan posters/fans out there that I respect, and your behavior doesn't cut it quite frankly. If you want to talk football, talk football. Don't lurk on the site for over a year and then call people out because we don't conform to your perception on how we're supposed to behave on our own board. I'll respect you then and maybe I won't post "Fuck Michigan" just for the hell of saying "Fuck Michigan."

Just asking because I'm not sure how it's works with ND being independent but is it always Big Ten ref's for this game? I remember a few game that were just blatantly in favor of UM. No making excuses but it sucks to have to play the ref's as well .

Just asking because I'm not sure how it's works with ND being independent but is it always Big Ten ref's for this game? I remember a few game that were just blatantly in favor of UM. No making excuses but it sucks to have to play the ref's as well .

ND has always had a policy in its home and home series of the visitor bringing the refs. Michigan violated that the second to last game in the big house by insisting on Big 10 refs. And with us breaking up the Big East we had an incredibly bad season of calls our last year in the big east. This past year, either getting used to ACC refs, or them not caring for ND was just about as bad.

Refs are never an excuse, but ND has had a rough, up hill last four or five years with the calls, especially with the circumstances of the UM game.

I was talking about the tow cables that the A-Wing fighters have on the planet Hoth. You might remember Luke Skywalker instructing the Rebel Alliance pilots to use their tow cables to bring down the Imperial AT-AT Walkers.
