Here is one thing I do not grasp... he's already been investigated numerous times for the appeals and circuit placements no? I am not schooled in those two processes firsthand but myself and family have gone through enough government jobs and clearance checks to know how exhaustive those background investigations are. I find it hard to believe this is the first time he's gone through any process like this so why is that not being brought up anywhere??? If he's never had a lengthy government background check then why the holy frig not? I get childhood friends i haven't seen in 20 years getting interviewed for a low level job but a Circuit judge just walks into that role? Assuming he has been, and that's my strong assumption, looked into numerous times why is that point not being hammered by those on his side??

Yes he may have been vetted before, but Ford wasn't able to draw inner strength and courage to come forward until now. #metoo

if you google brett kavanaugh beer t shirts there are some good ones.

If he gets confirmed, and lives up to what appears to be a pretty conservative judicial philosophy, this guy is going to achieve cult hero status that makes RBG's crowd look JV.

I bet this was known prior to the hearing. The questioning around the lie detector test, and these revelations are too coincidental. I thought the whole fear of flying thing was BS from the start, as I'm sure most did (non-libs).

If true, the cheating and especially the credit card thing makes her sound at min deceitful and borderline cray cray

I'm just waiting for conservative kids to file mass complaints against lib profs and students for creating a hostile safe space, er study environment.

You all see that Georgetown Prof getting away with saying male conservatives should be murdered, castrated and then burned??? It’s surreal... but don’t express differing political opinions, that’s hateful and you could rightfully get attacked and have your sign ripped apart.

only going to get worse

It already has.

we've seen some really bad things. i don't think we've seen really really bad things. i'm talking mass shootings and bombings types of really really bad.

Didn't Trump and Mattis get envelopes of ricin today?

Yup (not sure it's been confirmed though). IMO, the attempt is weak, and has little chance to actually do much. It's bad, don't get me wrong, but it's the act of a coward doing something from afar. I think we're going to see more brazen shit. Like martyr type violence. A lot of crazy folks out there on both sides. The difference is, the left mainstream is embracing the crazy and pushing them to do more.

From Fox News......

CHRISTINE FORD'S HONESTY QUESTIONED: In a letter released Tuesday and obtained by FOX News, an ex-boyfriend of Christine Blasey Ford seemingly contradicts her testimony under oath last week that she had never helped anyone prepare for a polygraph examination ... The former boyfriend, whose name was redacted, also said Ford neither mentioned Kavanaugh nor said she was a victim of sexual misconduct during the time they were dating from about 1992 to 1998. He said he saw Ford helping a woman he believed was her "life-long best friend" prepare for a potential polygraph test. He added that the woman had been interviewing for jobs with the FBI and U.S. Attorney's office.

Under questioning from sex-crimes prosecutor Rachel Mitchell last week, Ford said that she had "never" had "any discussions with anyone ... on how to take a polygraph" or "given any tips or advice to anyone who was looking to take a polygraph test." In a letter Tuesday evening that referenced the ex-boyfriend's declaration, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley demanded that attorneys for Ford turn over her therapist’s notes and other key materials, and suggested she was intentionally less than truthful about her experience with polygraph examinations during Thursday's dramatic Senate hearing. The doubts about Ford's testimony surface as another Kavanaugh accuser, Julie Swetnick - who has made lurid, uncorroborated sexual assault allegations about the Supreme Court nominee - faces growing questions about her own credibility.

The FBI may wrap up its investigation into misconduct accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as soon as late Wednesday, a source tells FOX News, potentially clearing the way for a final Senate vote on his confirmation within days ... If the FBI's report is indeed delivered to the White House on Wednesday, FOX News expects a vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation could come as soon as Saturday. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., must first satisfy a number of procedural and parliamentary hurdles before a vote can be held, including filing a cloture petition (which must remain pending for a full day) in order to formally end debate on Kavanaugh's nomination. McConnell has vowed to hold a vote by the end of the week. Republicans command a narrow 51-49 majority in the Senate, giving them little margin for error.

Scanned the news channels and sites this AM....

Ford's boyfriend's letter which is in clear conflict with multiple points in her testimony is no where to be found on CNN and MSNBC. So they will run with any allegations, even the ones that have since been walked back, but not this one...

CNN still had a large spot on the front page to talk about "period poverty" and the lack of feminine pads in London.

MSNBC still had space on the front page to give you 50 Cent's view on the Russia probe. Yes, 50 Cent.

Agreed, but I think it will get a lot worse/bigger. IIRC, he had a list of 3 or 4 people in his pocket. He is a perfect example of the crazies the left is breeding. I think he belonged to a group called "Terminate the GOP" or something like that.
