No way in Hades does LSU win that game vs Bama. LSU has NO defense and went down to the wire with Texas who is far from a worldbeater. Other than that, LSU hasnt played anyone with a pulse. Im sorry but FL isnt impressive at all.

Bama will bench that QB of LSU's the hard way and the Tigers will fall apart. #calleditherefirst

It's all such a joke.

Alabama is the best team, and has been for years.

But the rest of the SEC is just like any other conference, except for one thing: CBS, ABC, and ESPN have all invested billions in SEC as their flagship.

So the whole season becomes one big argument from the talking heads regarding how to get the second SEC team into the playoff.

One way to do that is to completely overrate all of the second and third tier SEC teams such that whoever emerges has just played like 5 Top 25 schools.

So LSU beating Auburn and Florida is two Top 10 wins. Yet LSU struggles against Texas Florida gets absolutely smoked by UGA, etc.

Yup, there was a lot of delusion. Hell, there still is when it comes to people talking about replacement coaches. If only Oregon or KSU would have won out...

I hope you're right. I'm not convinced LSU is all that, but I'm not certain they aren't at least a top 3-5 team either. Word is that Tua is good to go and can play all out Saturday. His ankle is stable (the new surgical technique they used is amazing and SOOOOOO much better than what docs used to do with a high ankle sprain). The only issue is how much pain he can tolerate with it.

A syringe with a little numbing effect applied locally and he's good to go.

Anyone that hasn't checked out Bama fans on Twitter needs to do that immediately, it's hilarious. They're legit calling for his head, saying they won't renew their season tickets if he isn't fired, there's even a petition going around to have him fired that has around 500 signatures on it. And I thought this fanbase was delusional, they've lost their minds haha.

That's what happens when you force those boys to watch a Tide WR win all those NC's up in the Northeast.

Yeah I don’t blame them. The game has passed him by. He lost the fire. They should see if Dabo is ready to come home.

Lol. I would sell my soul to get Saban to ND. These people are wacky. The Alabama white bbq sauce has gone to their heads.

Ikr? They lose one game a century and it's generally always to an upper echelon team, they wouldn't make it a week as a ND fan lol

Hell, you barely make it as an ND fan. It’s close to the point that someone should take your shoe laces away and lock up all sharps and poisonous ingestibles.

Lol, yeah I'm done having any against the grain opinions. You guys are something else, "drink the koolaid or be publicly ridiculed!"

Or go your route and repeatedly rehash the same negative sentiment over and over and over. We get it. Your ass is red and you don’t want Kelly here anymore. Some agree. Some see it differently. Respect others opinions as you would expect your opinions to be respected.

Good grief. What an idiotic overreaction. Some of my fellow Bama fans have become spoiled and unrealistic during the past 12 years. It was a close loss to a very good team. No more, no less.

with a gimpy QB. Suspect ot would have been different if Tua was 100%

Maybe. Probably. You play with what you have, though. Tua was obviously limited and affected by his injury, but much less so than I expected. I think the biggest effect was that he'd missed a lot of practice and looked rusty and out of sync at times.

Congrats to LSU. They are a solid team and I think they can make a deep run. Tough loss for us but you get back at it. I expected Tua to be around 80% for the game but I think he was a bit better than that. They need to get busy today and finish out the year the right way.

The question for me is if in a potential rematch, does Saban learn from that first matchup and shut LSU's offense down?

Or do Burrow, Ensminger and Brady adjust right back and keep making plays?

It was astounding to me the amount of times LSU had receivers sitting down, wide-open just beyond the sticks. Never though I'd see so much space given by a Bama defense.

(and then when Bama started to crack down, LSU's RB was leaking out and finding space. Really impressed by LSU's overall gameplan.)

You will see Bama vs LSU in the playoffs rest assured.

LSU will play GA for SEC champ. LSU will win

LSU, OSU, Clemson and Bama with LSU and Bama playing week 1 while Clemson buries OSU week 1.

You dont beat Bama twice in the same year. LSU tried that before and got blew out in the NCG.

So Bama vs Clemson rematch....again.

It's possible. There's just not much you can point to on Bama's schedule to justify giving them a playoff spot over a one loss Oregon, assuming they win out and beat Utah convincingly in the PAC title game.

Even if it was OSU, LSU, Clemson and Bama, it would seem likely that OSU goes into the playoffs ranked #1 if they win out, given they're currently #1 and they're going to finish the season playing three ranked opponents while LSU finishes with two underwhelming opponents and Georgia. I'm not sure they'll be able to gain ground on OSU if they don't get ranked ahead of them after this week.

The semis could easily end up being OSU vs Bama and Clemson vs LSU. Even if your prediction regarding the semis is correct, and that's definitely possible, I don't see OSU getting "buried" by anyone in the country. They look like the real deal.
