Potential extremely early in the process rushed/momentum based verbal commitment from an elite prospect out of the South

What could possibly go wrong?

Just take your time kid

You don’t think any of the SEC powers will come for this elite DB from Mississippi?

This could obviously happen. But Womack’s interest in Notre Dame started way before his visit. He has interest in schools that offer education and football, and his family is encouraging him to leave the south.

Absolutely the Usual $uspects Georgia and 'Bama I'm sure will join the hat show. Texas will be alot more appealing in another year as well, he just seems to have his head on straight as far as academics and looking ahead for more than just Football.

Bro...give it a rest man

What was so wrong here?

That the top programs are not going to become a factor for a Top 50 safety out of Mississippi?

Rocket even gave ND a tip of the hat with our academics, which seem like a bigger deal to Womack, who also attends an independent private school.

That last bit goes a long way. Fair.

Looks like they are setting up his house for the big recruiting weekend. Might have to stop by on Saturday with a nice casserole and introduce myself.

I usually smoke brisket and catch the juice and add to my chili.

I find it humerous that the post above yours is a tip on improving chili.

Never change, IE. Never change.
Those who smoke meat, no explanation is necessary….

those that eat TV dinners and consider “BBQ” hot dogs and burned hamburger, no explanation will suffice…

As I pointed out in the other thread, ND basically had to walk away from this recruitment because he showed limited interest in getting it done to qualify for ND.

What else would he need to do? Likely just certain classes or that dreaded foreign language requirement..

Even if he was able to do that, I doubt he'd end up at ND. He would've gone to OSU or an SEC school.

No clue.
Usually when it’s an academic issue nobody will talk about it. They will just say it’s not happening & that’s that.
