Man, if we somehow hold onto knight through this soap opera, it'll be a story for years regardless of what he does on the field or if/when he later transfers.

The optics alone of going into the deep south and pulling a bluechip qb is worth the angst..

I hope I'm not breaking any rules here with posting insider info since this is another teams paysite but I went ahead and got a $1 promotional trial for an Auburn site and this was today's update.
So here we go on Deuce

First off I think Auburn still leads for Deuce. I also believe that ND feels the same way.

Auburn doesn't have a lot of leverage here and the Knight's and those around them are not dumb and realize this as well. From an NIL standpoint they (the Knights) have the upper hand and it doesn't really behoove them to make any kind of final call yet even though I think they ultimately want Deuce at AU

So what does AU do? Although there aren't a lot of options out there I think you will see Auburn reach out to multiple other targets committed elsewhere to gauge interest. For a possible back up plan and to try and gain back a little leverage and put some more pressure on Deuce to pull the trigger

The OV is scheduled for the Oklahoma game. I honestly think that's the jumping off point for Auburn. Deuce will more than likely be told that that decision needs to be made by then or on that weekend or Auburn is moving on. But I'm not going to be shocked to see some "new" names pop up (that AU has had contact with in the past)

I'm still around 75%+ confidence that Deuce ends up at AU based off my latest intel

Deuce has a spot at ND that includes a healthy NIL deal. There is nothing Auburn could possibly do to create any sort of leverage over him lol

I love FC Cincy, but the best place for a Skyline Cheese Coney is a Cincinnati Reds game. The best place for a slice of Larosa's Pizza is also a Reds game (followed VERY closely by the Larosa's vendor at the Cincinnati Zoo).

You go to a Reds game. You purchase one of each. You fold the coney into the massive slice of greasy cheese pizza. You enjoy a meal fit for a Cincinnati king*.

*I have not actually tried this yet. Going to a businessmen's special next Thursday for a company outing. That will be my time. May bring my own White Castle slider and some goetta to make a truly monstrous creation and one-up everyone.
I have. And now i have fat guy health problems

It's been rumors and conjecture for the last several months with no real news and one page reading like the previous. Finally, we have a real update. Thank you NDpendent.:rock::clap::clap::wbanana::wbanana::rockwoot::rockwoot:

I read through the previous updates and they said that Deuce had silently gave his commitment to High(Auburn) and the expectation was he was going to publicly announce it this past weekend. When Deuce didn't, their confidence went down and they are silently reaching out to other QBs

Doesn’t seem that silently if everyone know’s about it. Hell if we know about it surely the Knights know about it.
Auburn… stupid twats.

There have been at least four dates now when he was "supposed" to flip.

Best case scenario is he told MMFF before all this started that he was solid and just wanted to collect a few $100k visit checks.

Worst case scenario is he drags this out until Signing Day and then announces for like USC. At this point that feels as likely as him coming here or committing to Auburn.

Seems like these Auburn writers are alot more informed and connected then our ND guys. Said one guy to keep an eye and ear on for Auburn is Ty Hawkins, sounds like the Auburn staff is opening the dialogue there.

TheBarn, it's an independent site similar to an ISD or IB

I apologize about derailing the cookie on pizza discussion, I am seriously interested in trying that. It is more likely I will try that before NSD then Deuce stays until NSD

I saw this last night. ND & Auburn have QB issues this year & Deuce is still committed to ND; where he ends up at I don't care anymore, I think Carr is the future. I can't wait until Auburn starts playing their SEC schedule and even if he commits to Auburn- will he stay there??

It’s Auburn’s way of trying to move Deuce to commit now. IIRC, Hawkins wasn’t considering Auburn. Next stop on the who wants to be an Auburn QB may very well be KJ Lacey. Time for yellawood to stroke a check to somebody.

What is the report on lacey? Seems his stock dropped. Even texas was recruiting another qb for a minute

Who knows, but it feels like if Deuce was going to Auburn he would’ve committed by now. Which is not to say he winds up at Notre Dame of course.
