You know, maybe this is revisionist history...but Lloyd's not a bad guy. He went 5-4 against us during a time when ND was playing arguably some of their worst football between '95 and '07. That's almost a .500 record when Michigan was still decent and we sucked. Not only that, but he supports his grandson playing for the enemy. Decent guy!

So we've now infiltrated both Ohio St and Michigan's pantheon of greats. Next up, Pete Carroll's grandson...
From wikipedia "After being an athlete in childhood, his lack of physical growth as a teenager caused him frustration in high school sports"

Bad genes, maybe the co-eds he was laying pipe with might have better genes?

“I completely trust coach Freeman and whom he might bring after coach Rees. He talked to me about that, and he’s going to bring in an NFL type of offense and coach who can develop quarterbacks. I 100% trust coach Freeman and what he’s doing with the staff.”

Quinn says Carr is more polished than he was coming out of high school. Makes great plays down the field. Has a great handle on the mental side of the position. He understands how to attack a defense, he thinks he'll transition well at the next level. Sky is the limit. Credits Freeman and Rees for the pickup.
This is what separates the great from the very good.

Really nice to hear Freeman didn't shy away from having that conversation.
