I am going to get accused of being DU Lac for this but it is one the best gauges on where a kids head is at. All of Keeleys likes for two weeks before his decommitment were Bama posts. All of JLoves likes before his commitment were ND posts even when people were saying ATM is a threat.

The other good gauge is how they are interacting with the other 23 commits, Keeley shut them down/blocked them out the last couple weeks before his decommitment. BD said that Bowen is very actively talking to the other recruits in the class.

It's hard enough to read the minds of 18 year olds you know, let alone ones you've never met, but those two factors do feel like far better indicators of where a recruit's head is at than "sources in the Gug," or reporters' hunches, or even rumored future visits.

It's crazy. Reminds me a little of Amorion Walker but hopefully this one goes to the good guys. I don't think Bowen is outright lying to people like Walker was though. I just mean two schools both feel like they have him 100% locked in.

If ND can hold this class together it would be incredible. A lot of these guys could be playing next year, Bowen included.

I don't share the feeling that these kids should be taking visits after their committed. However, I appreciate where it's coming from.

Early report from Christian at ISD is he enjoyed the visit, but gave no indication to anyone that he was ready to shut down everything.
