He's an absolute ball hawk and his speed is off the chain. He's the best safety in the nation imo. It's funny early in the recruiting process we all thought we would be upgrading with Downs. No way. P. Bowen is every bit as good and likely better than Downs. Holding onto this kid is going to define Freeman's first class and ability to keep the poachers away for '24. It's the difference between an elite class and just a really good class.

I just hope he sees ND as Safety U. He's young, so names like Harrison Smith might not mean a lot to him, but ND has done about as well at developing elite safeties as any program in the nation. Kyle Hamilton and Brandon Joseph are going to be NFL starting safeties.

A few of us, myself included, thought we had a chance after his OV. To be fair, I think Caleb really liked ND, he just liked 2-3 other schools more. You don't visit a place 4-5 times, like he did with ND, if you don't like the place.
