Belmont (N.C.) South Point four-star offensive tackle Sullivan Absher made his way to Notre Dame over the weekend to take in the Blue-Gold Spring Game. It was the 6-7, 290-pounder’s first trip to South Bend since a few months have passed, but it couldn’t have gone better.

Another interesting note regarding his trip was that he spent a lot of time with Top100 offensive tackle Monroe Freeling. These two have grown close throughout the process and have even discussed playing together at the next level. In fact, Absher says that he has talked about teaming up with Freeling, new offensive line commit Sam Pendleton and Irish guard target Austin Siereveld as well. It’ll be interesting to see where each of these guys land.
