Yeah, hard to put Love and Price ahead of Brooks and Bettis. Maybe 1a and 1bReggie Brooks and Jerome Bettis shared a backfield together in '92.

Literally was just posting about this...definitely the craziest backfield ever1990 as a RB room will probably never be topped at ND.

Not all were at or finished at RB, but all 7 that stayed at Notre Dame were picked in the first 4 rounds. With Levens being drafted in the 5th.
EDIT : Forgot one - played at RB for next 3 years after and drafted in 3rd round at DB

Ricky Watters, Tony Brooks, Rodney Culver, Anthony Johnson and Rocket in 88 wasn’t too shabby.Reggie Brooks and Jerome Bettis shared a backfield together in '92.
The Heisman Trophy by definition is the Most Outstanding Player. Always has been. Don’t care what Wikipedia says
Should it be the best? Probably. Get Quenton Nelson a Heisman. But it’s not. And the term outstanding gets stretched depending on the year, the media narrative and the candidates. Just always how it’s been.
Denbrock doesn’t F around game 1 and those two are near locks.Doing a bit of record watching, and wondering if he can hit any of the next all-time single season records with 2 games left (knock on wood):
Single season yards (currently at 1,135): V. Ferguson: 1,437
Single season rushing TDs (currently at 14): A. Estime: 18
edit: forgot that bowls count towards stats
I agree. Maybe it is his size/body type, but he never seemed to wow me at ND. I have to admit I did not expect his level of success in the NFL. Love on the other hand blows my mind every game. If he gets with the right NFL team, I can easily see him being Rookie of the Year.I don’t see Kyren as #2. I think you’re using his pro success in that evaluation.
Sadly, the California murderer should be on that list. He had a couple of really good seasons at ND.Kyren had a long one against NC. Idk how long it was, but probably around 75 yards.
I’d go….
Love
Williams
Estime
Price
Adams
Riddick
Dex

Oh I love this. Again for my the OG's. Now. This might be tough for some of y'all. But can you guys name/state better run/effort than dis?
Wasn’t Ricky Watwrs back there as well?Reggie Brooks and Jerome Bettis shared a backfield together in '92.
I think it was Burris, Lee Becton, and Ray Zellars after Bettis and Brooks. Still pretty damn good. Waters was '90.Wasn’t Ricky Watwrs back there as well?

Lou had some great RBs and knew how to use them. Reggie Brooks 240+ yards against usc at the Colliseum was a beauty.I think it was Burris, Lee Becton, and Ray Zellars after Bettis and Brooks. Still pretty damn good. Waters was '90.
This dude does not lack confidence but he presents it in the best possible classy way. Just another example of the football player this school puts out. Parents out there should take note.Love Is on the SVP show tonight
