A much-loved little Aussie classic comedy. The comedy is of a sort that most people from other countries would not really "get it". Not that it is clever, more the opposite of that actually. So many quotes from this movie such as the one in this meme are regular part of Aussie conversation for anyone in the 40-60 age group.

A "salt of the earth" families battle against the government to save their house from compulsory acquistion ("their acquiring it compulsorily"). I'd give it 9 out of 10.
