I was just about to do the same. Not quite as good, but way better for the waistline. If I suggest that nonfat greek yogurt might be a better choice than sour cream will I be banned?
Just so I am clear, the staff is not recruiting other QBs and Julian Sayin isn't getting calls?FWIW, I 100% think the staff should be recruiting other QB's right now, more so than they are. There is no reason that Julian Sayin shouldn't still be getting calls while they figure the re-class with Carr. However, what does that have to do with Moore?
What IrishDrunk is complaining about with the Carr's is literally what Freeman and Rees did with the Moore's and the Moore's fucked them. They went all in and canceled '23 QB recruiting for Dante. Dante committed and came up with a plan to take visits and announce that commitment later. Then balked at the plan and came up with 1 or 2 other variations of that plan. Putting the staff in an impossible spot.
On the other hand. CJ Carr and his family were given the same opportunity by Freeman and Rees. They jumped at the opportunity and never looked back. Recruiting his butt off for the program in the mean time and literally helping to land multiple 4 star players in the process.
One is the future QB on our football team and one will be playing in Big 12. We got our guy.
And if this is the case, which of the talking heads provided that intel?
Put in bullet points pleaseSour cream on everything. I buy massive tubs of it. Likely my most consumed food item. Eggs = always. Tacos = duh. Potatoes = yep.....Shall I continue?.....
You’re a monster. If I suggest that nonfat greek yogurt might be a better choice than sour cream will I be banned?
Anyone from the Twin Cities or elsewhere familiar with Zantigo? They specialized in Chilitos. I’m a big fan, though they are always a risk gastrointestinal-ly.ACTUALLY, my favorite item from Skyline is a chilito (chili and cheese inside a soft tortilla, then steamed), but with spaghetti and sour cream added.
It's like a three-way inside a tortilla, but with the bonus of the sour cream changing it up.
I allow this because Skyline chili is not actually chili... it's modified Greek spaghetti sauce.

2 to 1 odds Dante Picks Oregon tomorrow AND then flips later this year before signing. He will probably end up at Michigan.
Dante's recruiting shouldn't stop tomorrow. This is a major egg on Rees. He needs to figure out where Carr is going to land (2023 or 2024) and get another QB in accordingly before he bolts to NFL.
Regardless, Rees didn’t close him. He was a true game changer. At least he got the older 4.5 star 2024 QB that the new QB Coach can train up (since boy genius really wants an NFL job)When you're signing deals for NIL and your parents are (allegedly, we'll know within two years) getting Nike jobs for NIL, the risk of flipping is little-to-none.
Don’t you get it??? Carr’s Reclass Option allows CJ to ensure no other QB of any gravitas comes in to spoil his ND stardom. ND is all-in for CJ Carr and his family. We will not be getting any Top 100 QB or 4 Star transfer to hurt CJ’s promised future.FWIW, I 100% think the staff should be recruiting other QB's right now, more so than they are. Please STFU. Your points are terrible. All points are not equally valid and you are a great example of why.Don’t you get it??? Yes Rees got a 4.5 star QB for 2024 but in doing so sold Dante and 2023 cycle down the River. That is the ugly truth and many ND analysts don’t even want to discuss it.p
Oh, you mean when Dante was stating that he wanted to check out TAMU to "see how they signed the #1 class last year"? Was that when your Carr conspiracy began? Or, just forgetting the fact that he's getting at least a million more at Oregon and his parents got jobs at Nike?Don’t you get it??? Sincerely asking. How do you know any of this is fact at this point?Oh, you mean when Dante was stating that he wanted to check out TAMU to "see how they signed the #1 class last year"? Right, sounds like a conspiracy by the Carr family.
Well, I put his statement in quotes, so there's that. The money is just what everyone on here has been saying, so I just take it as same old same ole talk. Nobody knows a thing, but I certainly don't buy a Carr conspiracy. Nor do I think ND didn't do enough for Dante. He wanted OR and there's nothing wrong with that, but it was bc of him, not bc of ND or CJ Carr. Personally I think it was bc he was scared and chose the bag. Do I know that for sure? Nope. But still pretty damn sure it wasn't a Carr conspiracy.Sincerely asking. How do you know any of this is fact at this point?
What you don’t get is they did the same thing for Dante. They sold the 2023 QB class down the River for Dante, though unlike the Carr’s who made good on their commitment, the Moore’s are a bunch of dishonest turds.Don’t you get it??? There’s plenty to criticize Rees for. I don’t think he handled the 2022 QB class particularly well, and assuming they either strike out in 2023 or end up with a vastly inferior QB who can’t play because he went all in on Dante, that is absolutely a horrendous look for him. You can also point out his play-calling in the 2nd half against Oklahoma State.Don’t you get it??? Agreed on all parts. Rees definitely deserves some flak here, but Dante got scared off by another 5 star QB after getting numerous chances to commit (or not following through on his silent commitment). Shit, I could see Rees using this same story going forward when he's recruiting other 5 star QBs. "Hey kid, you're our top target, but we can't leave the program in a bad place if you find a better fit."There’s plenty to criticize Rees for. But I don’t think he sold Dante down the river. In fact, quite the opposite. If anything, this should be a lesson going forward in that you don’t go all-in in 1 QB when you’re in good/decent position with other QB who are also highly ranked.
Agree completely. Rees and MF dropped the ball for '23 and I am not huge on the '22 effort by Rees. Dante's ass was kissed harder than any recruit in ND history. It was really quite pathetic to be honest. I hope they do not do this again. He needs a better strategy. ND fans and Rees are extremely lucky CJ Carr exists and committed when he did, or we might not have a great '22, no great '23, and nobody in mind for '24. Can you imagine what we'd be saying about Rees if CJ wasn't committed? There’s plenty to criticize Rees for. I’m just curious why Rees is the one getting all the blame/praise?
I fully understand he is the QB coach & OC.
But the HC is the man in charge.
He can tell Rees to pound sand and change his recruiting strategy.
Marcus had to be 100% on board with the strategy. If not, then he’s a bad leader for not stepping in and doing what he wanted. I’m going to assume he was on board, thus it’s not all on Rees.
Win or lose, it’s Freeman’s team.
Oh yeah. Silverlake Ramen opened up near me. Their spicy pork kimchi bun is to die for.I think this is as good a time as any to ask. Any of you guys ever eat Chinese pork buns? Sad to admit my first time this week. They are amazing.
