My eyes do in fact still work, so, yes.

That's not even getting into it's now here. For Free.

Not the “free” part that matters bud. Reading it here or on 247 is so incredibly different than a CB that gets pushed out publicly. Those appear all over Twitter, IG, Podcasts, CBS Sports HQ etc. Doubt Dante Moore being Irish (or any info, I certainly have) if you’d like but seems silly to take issue with Loy literally doing his job, considering this site basically is 247 second hand most days.

Don't call me bud, pal.

I'll keep thinking a silent CB is the stupidest shit I've read in a while. Regardless of why or what it means. Its stupid.

My first thumbs down too, oh no!

Just indicating where my message will be.
It seems to me that the recruiting reporters all think that right now Moore would pick ND, but that they know visits change things and he wants to take visits.

Thought ur mom already did!

Is that two more red thumbs I see? Guys, please, you're hurting my silent feelings.

If we are to believe the reporter who is silently reporting that this is an ND win - What is stopping Michigan beat writers from throwing their predictions down and making this Unsilently public. They would no longer have any skin in the game, right?

What is their incentive to do Moore a favor?

Journalistic integrity? In Crootin? Doubtful.

So either, the Moore's are still telling Michigan they are in it, or neither side has a damn clue.

NDomer2 do you realize a fraction of people interested in recruiting access and read the threads. Most of their views are quick hits/free. Loy not making the CB public is a classy move to give ND fans who subscribe the brass tacks while protecting what Moore very well could have asked him for...

Only to get trashed on other sites for doing exactly what may make sense for everyone.

Do you think this is still the case with him taking a bunch of other visits?

Thank you for mansplaining subscriptions to me. All so much clearer now. A silent report suddenly isnt an oxymoron or juvenile.

I understand what he is doing, but there is a more professional way to go about it. See Trieu or could have commented like NDFAN420. I would hope we can all agree there is a big difference here while essentially saying the same thing.

Per Trieu, he thinks ND is the team to beat going into the LSU visit.

I'll go back to my previously posed question. Why would a michigan beat writer not drop a CB if its a known loss? They have no incentive to keep it behind closed doors like Tom would.

Im guessing the visits are why he hasnt gone public with his commitment yet. Staff may have told him to get through the visits then shut it down, which lines up with the mid/late march commitment others have brought up.

You've been around here long enough to know that logic and common sense are not allowed. Only thoughts driven by emotion.

Who knows, but what I think is most likely given what 247/ISD/Sinclair are saying is Moore's said something along the lines of "I'm really feeling ND and am probably going to commit pretty quickly but I do want to take the long distance visits first just to make sure and to not freak people out that I'm taking them after committing."

So you think the way he reported the HH, Al Golden and Brian Mason hired were lacking professionalism too? He did the same thing. You’re getting hung up on the CB part. Singer does the same thing. Reporters at other sites, the same thing. Trieu in other threads, the same thing. It’s literally common practice. Forget the terms silent and CB, he’s predicting he goes to ND, that’s all.

Why would a michigan beat writer not drop a CB if its a known loss?

They don’t know the same info as him? That’s kind of the whole point.

That seems an entirely logical and reasonable approach for all involved.
So of course Harbaugh is playing four-dimensional chess here and Moore's a silent Michigan commit who'll come out for us and then flip a week before Signing Day.

That would be my guess, only because Hairball is a dirtbag and plays like that. Good Catholic my ass.

Please someone keep track of this and call me out if I am wrong, but I am guessing he is a Meatchk silent and they are playing the
AW BMcg game again. Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me 2X...... Not sure how it goes when we get Fooled 3X.

yes my issue is with using childish term "Silent Prediction" - I thought I've made that clear at this point.

Are you trying to tell me that a reporter for the same company doesnt or is incapable to know/find out what Tom is saying on their own company website?

Then on the flip side, if they are being told something different (likely from the same/similar source) the question becomes who is getting led astray.

We can leave this be (at least the last ill say on it) because its irrelevant to what actually happens, and doesnt change that I hope Tom is the one getting the accurate information. It's just weird and stupid to me.

I think you can blame the people who came up with the term "silent CB" then. Because looking at it at face value, it's incredibly dumb. "Crystal Ball" is nothing more than a prediction of where they think they are going, at the time of the CB, with the knowledge they have. Isn't that what they always tell us when they get it wrong?

This is exactly why I asked you if you can actually see his post. He literally never used that term and only responded in the jargon the heavily repeated question was asked in.
