Don’t let facts get in the way of a good narrative. I’ve posted much less around here too, I almost feel bad for occasionally listening to Driskell based on how it’s portrayed around here. I don’t always agree with him, but he (like it or not) knows MUCH more than most of those on this board so critical of him. I’m quite sure there’s a certain type of person that has a strong disdain for him. Their belief system tends to line up on just about every other issue. I try not to get involved in most topics because it seems so personal, but I still read a lot here….. My hope is that it becomes less divisive and the people that are obsessed with mentioning Driskell would just finally admit that they are so in love with him and are just upset that it’s not reciprocated

Every time Loy holds out on a CB and then someone goes elsewhere, people clown Loy, even though he’s clearly a super nice guy. Driskell gets clowned more because he does or says more stupid things. It’s actually not more complicated than that even if some try to make it to be.

For me, it's that he puts out like 12 hours of content a week, and in order to fill that much time, he ends up speculating about nearly every possible scenario that could possibly happen re: recruiting/staffing etc. Then when the big names solidify through their sources... magically he does too. And if something comes out of left field, he can point to one of the times he was throwing shit at the wall. Its a win win for him and pretty transparent.

I'm an avid listener during the season when he breaks down xs and os because I think he's got a lot to offer in that regard, but when it comes to 'inside info' he at best guesses, and at worst steals.

Honestly, I have never listened to him in my life and could not pick him out if you showed me a picture. All of you do a better job of keeping track of the beat reporters and such, which is cool. I come more for the content.

Not really. Mentioned he's a really solid mature kid. Very accurate with ball placement and good judgement. Said he's about 6'2" 208lb and should be about 215lb - 220lb next year. No indication on where he's leaning or what he thinks of ND, but that he'd be a good fit athletically and academically.
