Even things such as the Jackson Arnold “opinion” just go past hot take and instead to either stirring the pot or plain dumb. Many posters posted his info in the coaching thread and no one pushed back, so people here clearly understand when he’s being sensible versus not. If you’re gonna be one of the heads of a ND site though, suggesting a kid is visiting and reports are coming out that OU leads is just sending a warning shot to ND is just silly, and he said that after Jackson Arnold had already given his verbal commitment in reality.

Anyways, I always think it's strange that on a site where virtually nobody gets banned (seriously, not one person in years) and we don't censor anything that some people come to this conclusion. GU is far from the only person who has made a similar comment in recent years. Not sure if it's a product of modern media where people tend to self-segregate based on viewpoints or what. Or if it's because people are sarcastic and snarky? But compared to places like NDNation or others that act like the CCCP with what content they tolerate, I personally don't get it.

In general, if this is Driskell related, that's unfortunate. A lot of people here like his content, a lot of people have a bone to pick with him over his abrasiveness when he was at ISD and the fact that sometimes he says/does some crazy stuff. He's a polarizing guy. It is what it is, everyone is entitled to their opinion and its their prerogative to share their opinion.

Everywhere I read, signs are pointing to a Michigan lead and they most likely get him. I think if we could somehow get Carnell Tate to join, it would go a long way in getting Moore to take us seriously. Otherwise, I think we are simply a hat on the table and could end up being a McGregor/Amoron Walker situation where Michigan has him string us along and then makes it seem like they beat us for the guy.

The wildcard here could be Michigan losing a coach or 2 (Gattis).

Ah, interesting. I honestly haven't paid much attention when it comes to his preferred coaches. I just put down the people that I felt would shake it up the most. But I will keep an eye out for their QB coach then.

I guess kids will buy anything these days. That dude has virtually no Resume with QBs. Harbaugh's QB resume at Michigan is equally unimpressive.

Dont think it matters though. Harbaugh is most likely gone. Don't really care either way. I think he's bad for that program in the long run, but it would crush Michigan fans souls to lose him which gives me immeasurable joy.

He thinks ND needs to quit recruiting all the other qbs to prove to Dante he's the only one they're going agoing.

He then went on to say he's not sure that Tommy has the confidence to pull it off...

I had to sit down as he started outlining that idea. It's like he was begging Rees to follow a plan that will only lead to giving Driskell more things to bitch about in the future.

Now that's a quote... Without hearing it I'm going to assume that he said it in jocular manner, but his unfortunate history suggests that he really believes it. I do feel bad sometimes about the way the board treats this guy, even me, but then I think back to since he was tormenting poor Mike Frank that he just brought it all on himself despite the appearance of recent change. (i've thought for a while that he might have some kind of autism or antisocial issues that aren't necessarily his fault)

Not much gets me mad, but people talking about ASD is a VERY sore spot for me. I have family on the spectrum, my son and I are both ADHD (some think this is a form of ASD)... Not mad at any one person on here, but it gets used online a lot by people who don't know a friggin thing about it, and make it seem like it is a bad thing. I assure you it is not. I wish those of us here at IE NEVER use this as a slight. Please be mindful of this in your daily lives and conversations.

I'm with you. I've beat the drum a few times myself talking about my son who is moderately - severely autistic. It's irksome how autism is used negatively in language today..it was cool in popular culture to call people retarded in the 90s and early 2000s, and when people realized that was the wrong move they started shifting away and calling people autistic instead. How is that any better? You'll have two assholes going back and forth on social media and one will call the other autistic. Makes me shake my head...my son is pretty damn smart and the sweetest kid, don't go and compare some prick to him, that dude isn't in my son's league. It's more insulting to my son to be compared to that guy.

I'm not going to pretend to know the feelings either guy conveyed in the posts above so I give them the benefit of the doubt.
