That's crazy. When King went up with 8 seconds to go, I quit tracking that game. Receiver just ripped it out of the defenders hands. We need to land Moore.

Not trying to start a long drawn out discussion, but does it seem that Moore has a strange throw? Almost as if he pushes the ball. I don’t usually care but his seems pretty noticeable. As long as he’s accurate I really don’t care. But it seems it would limit just how far he’s capable of throwing.

Maybe that’s why I noticed so much in the game highlights, there weren’t too many long throws.

Really? Based on the little I've seen of Moore I kind of had the opposite conclusion. I'm worried he needs to change his sequencing to get more juice on the ball but he looked very good at placement on the short throws.

I should emphasize this is based on a handful of highlights.

Is there game tape of the Carmel game floating around? I wanna try go watch him play this year but the frickin Detroit PSL is always played on saturday afternoons

I think this is correct.


If you watch this video, his arm looks lively and not like he's "pushing" the ball.

But it does look like he's standing flat-footed when he's not on the run... like a guy that has always depended on his athleticism.

Seems like an easy thing to coach, but what do I know?

This is what I see as well. Does not step into any throw and seems to rely strictly on his arm strength and athleticism. Very accurate for throwing that way. No clue if that would be easy or difficult to change.

he ain't gonna get much QB coaching in the school/league he plays in. It's all about athletes in the DPSL, offenses are very basic and just rely on playmakers making plays

I'd have to imagine footwork and stepping into throws is easier to fix than arm mechanics.

Kinda makes me like him even more tbh. He's already not lacking for arm strength just muscling it. Imagine the cannon he could have putting his body into his throws and with some weight training.

Thanks for sharing this - seemed very positive. The 3 big considerations he listed for choosing a school - head coach, academics, and campus feel - are all huge pluses for ND. Love his relationship with Rees, and it’s interesting he doesn’t have any other visits lined up…
