In the words of one of the great philosophers of our age…

I told 'em all
All them little gangsters, who you think helped mold 'em all?
Now you wanna run around talking bout guns, like I ain't got none
What you think I sold 'em all?
'Cause I stay well off?
Now all I get is hate mail all day sayin' Dre fell off
What, 'cause I been in the lab with a pen and a pad
Tryin' to get this damn label off?
How I pictured Big D rolling back into IE,…

I got up and walked out the door and took a long contemplative stroll. I had to or things in my house were going to get very, very broken
I went storming up out of the room yelling about dead ducks and asking how fucking hard is it for a college football player to knock down pee wee passes

So pissed.

WHEN Dante does commit, will we still be immediately concerned of a de commit if things dont go well against OSU ???

Just wanna be prepared! :)
Even more reason for him to IMO. QBs struggle this year and he might be walking into a QB1 situation immediately. Let's see what Buchner does week one.

Visiting Michigan Friday. A&M soon. Scary Quotes regarding them. Five-star QB Dante Moore previews Michigan visit, talks increased A&M contact

A&M would be the final bullshit hurdle.

Going to A&M last is just a savvy business move - get the highest NIL offer (after Miami and Oregon already made theirs) on your last official and have ND figure out a way to match.

Really interesting to see how these final official visits shake out. Not worried about Michigan much since they don't have anyone Moore has a great relationship with. Worried about the potential Miami OV and the A&M OV. Everything I read says ND is trying to get him to OV on the June 17th trip where M'Pemba, Greathouse, and Bell will be visiting. Will be telling how that visit plays out and whether Moore takes other officials after that.

I havent read theyre trying to make the 17th an OV for Dante.

Awesome, must have missed it from 247.

I read theres a definite push... nay expectation he'll likely visit around the 17th. Hadn't seen theyre pushing OV.

Thats great news though.

Confident ND lands Moore, will remain confident that we do until or unless we enter July and he's still not publicly committed to ND.

🤔

Like when MSU took the Texas 3 star QB, taking Williams certainly wouldn’t stop them from taking Moore, but there would be appear to be a reason they may be willing to accept a commitment now you’d think, in the heat of it for Moore and Rashada.

Positive development for sure IMO. More wondering here how this account can call Miami QB U. I mean, they haven't had a QB drafted in the first round since Vinny Testicles, which was near the last time ND won a championship. Is ND now WR U, TE U, QB U, OL U, CB U, DL U, S U, RB U, and P U?

Listen... Im no expert. I only have the info that anyone with a few bucks a month to blow has.

But nobody really thinks anyone is in "the thick of it" for Dante other than ND.

I happen to think, and as said I may be totally wrong, but I think Dante is doing everything in his power to raise his national exposure and NIL value.

I dont blame him a bit. This is the new normal.

Can you imagine what NIL will be worth for Notre Dame's QB1 who takes us over the hump? It will make some stupid lump sum pale in comparison these other schools are offering.

(Same goes for TB who I think is criminally forgotten in all this)

Buchner’s getting a personal deal with UA as soon as he breaks his first 20+ yard TD run against OSU in some squeaky-clean white and gold UA cleats.

While I agree in that we read the same, he’s still not committed and maybe it’s what his family and camp is being told by third parties, but I’m not sure I buy the legitimacy of the whole exposure, social media followers leads to any NIL bump of real consequence. When the real millions starting dropping from companies like Bose for example with regard to Caleb Williams, they aren’t gonna care he visited Miami one extra time and got 1,000 followers on IG from it. Any visit he takes is still only downside potential for ND. Silent commits can still do silent decommits just like a public kid.

I agree in that we don't know if increased OVs and exposure lead to bigger NIL possibilities... But it is kind of prevailing wisdom and we just don't know.

I dont blame him for giving it a go.

Could also be the bird in the hand approach.

Remember how we were all pissing ourselves over Oregon and they offered Avery Johnson while Dante was still driving to the airport?

A&M is Oregon with fewer wins.

Yeah. I'm dubious its about social media exposure/NIL potential - like you said does another 1,000 instagram followers who are fans of a school you don't play for really matter? - so much as it is about shopping around and making certain of his choice.

Yes, there is short-term downside for us he goes to A&M and gets dollar signs in his eyes. But long-term Dante looking around now is fine, even a good thing - assuming he chooses Notre Dame in the end. Better to go see those places now, see Oregon and A&M and Miami for what they are, and make a decision with all the facts, rather than have second thoughts when they come calling in November. That is a far better outcome for us.

I keep telling myself don’t be negative. Let’s just move forward with what we hear. I just can wait till this over and he commits.

Honestly I think Dante at this point is just doing what he can to keep the suspense. If Michigan honestly thinks they have a shot here lol no comment. I think Dante has been in the bag for at least a month or longer now. Just look at the WR recruiting lately and who Dante follows on instagram. He recently followed that 5 star RB whose visiting.

FWIW, that’s because they were at Oregon visit together
