If you have 7 million dollars to waste on a jr in high school I don’t think you really care about the money. If Moore busts they will just move onto the next guys that’s a “sure thing”.
Yeah, the Bag Man already had certain amounts of money from his yearly budget set aside for recruiting purposes... now those guys can LEGALLY pool their money, and strategize about how to allocate it for the guys they want, on a yearly basis.
The craziest thing to me, is that the scumbag bag men now have as much protection as the players that can legally earn money. In the past, if you payed a kid up front and then agreed to pay his mom's rent while he's in school, you better hope you're getting a good ROI in terms of the on-field product. If not, you have to decide between continuing the pay the kid's mom, or risk him getting mad and snitching.
Now, if the investment isn't working out, I'm sure there will be a legal 'out' for the guys with the money, and they can just drop the kid and allocate more money to the next season's collective.
