To never see him targeted again after the touchdown when no other receiver was getting open was disappointing. What else do you have to lose?

To give maximum benefit of the doubt to the staff it was because he didn't know any more of the playbook.

However I don't think the staff deserves more than minimum benefit of the doubt. So it was probably that he isn't good at blocking after the catch (but no one else makes catches so why do we need that?)

Can he change his number to 18? I’m getting Joey Getherall vibes and I’m all here for it

I know alot of people want Tyree back next year, but this young man is going to handle kick/punt returns next year. He is special. Jordan is a game changer!

Interesting that Tyree finally breaks one on the week that Faison starts getting ST time.

Faison is for real, I'm in agreement with many of you. He needs to hit the fast track to earning snaps next year. He is a huge threat down field, I hope he puts in the work with the machine and proves he can be trusted to catch because he is going to be hard to defend.

Honestly I haven’t been too impressed with Rico’s athleticism yet. But it’s yr 1 and if he hits the squats hard his explosiveness can improve. Not sure what’s up with “Greenhouse” but he impressed me the most to start the year. We need 1 or 2 FSU types WR’s that can win on jump balls or separate.

Was hoping that was Colzie

As much maligned the WR is right now.... Think about where we will be two years from now. Juniors Rico Flores, Jaden Greenhouse, Jordan Faison, Sophomore Cam Williams.
And Braylon James who looks explosive AF and the rest of Cam's classmates. I'm out on a limb screaming Logan Saldate is going to be a really good WR for us. Micah is a big-framed probably 2nd year contributor.

But recruits surprise us all the time once they step on campus.

I still want Tyree to come back
Slot receiver is his position, no doubt. He can't run between the tackles, never has been able to. He's dangerous in space though, and it best allows him to utilize his speed. We saw him line up there some last year, but it's the smart move to stay at WR.

For how f*Ed up our receiver room has been this year we are going to be in a very good spot next year with these Studs coming in from the 24 class and Braylon and Kaleb Smith done with their redshirt years. Our WR room will have a much different look to it

And let’s hope it’s not back to poor QB play.

For as good as these guys are, we either need a #1 option in the portal or the staff needs to be confident Cam Williams is ready to step in as #1 from day one.

We'll have a roster full of quality 2's and 3's, but if we want an elite group that makes a run in next year's playoff, we need an alpha imo.

1. Numbers wise and stars wise yes. Unless someone starts exploding the last 4 games this year, we'll be returning players that haven't had a lot of success. Hopefully our numbers help us prevent so many injuries.

2. I do believe we'll take a step forward at WR next year, but that may be masked if we don't get a good transfer QB.

3. I think james is ascending slowly but kaleb smith will need a monster spring since he really hasn't been able to do anything all fall. James/Smith, and the new frosh could have tobias/frosh type years where they're out there running around but not contributing a ton.

4. Do we know if Cam Williams will be an early enrollee?

5. If you can get a stud in the portal, do it. I had high hopes for thomas, almost thought he was a lock for a huge year, but he didn't look good vs man vs nc state/osu pre injury.

6. Rico/Greathouse need to take big leaps forward with their experience. I'm not sure where they both should play especially if Tyree comes back.

7. Does colzie come back and does he contribute. With a lack of production he probably can't transfer anywhere good, so coming back makes sense.

100% agree. If not an alpha, then a dude with a different skillset that can put pressure on a D with pure playmaking ability. Maybe Faison or Tyree becomes that guy, but I’d rather just bring in a proven commodity. Cam will be good as a freshman, not sure he will be a top dog year 1 though.

You forgetting about James? Or Smith? Plus the other 2 Freshman guys coming in are tearing it up

Key this off-season is gonna be what does Tyree, Colzie, Thomas and Merriweather do? Thomas tech will have two years left I’m almost on board letting Colzie take a medical this year to save a year

1. Stars will come out of this bunch, let's not forget half these receivers on our roster are true freshman. Another 25% are sophomores.
3. Kaleb Smith and Braylon James are being redshirted. Hard to contribute "a ton" as a redshirt
4. I thought I heard Cam was an EE and he will be a huge contributor next year
5. We will not go to the portal for WR, with the freshman coming in we will have up to 12 guys on the roster and realistically need one or two to leave
6. They are true freshman, they should make massive improvements by next year.
7. We don't need Colzie back with our depth numbers

Kaleb smith is still injured I believe and not able to do much. Maybe by bowl practice he can start getting work or like i said, a big spring to show what he can do.

These freshmen aren't showing potential like a carnell tate is. Meaning, he's inconsistent, but that dude looks like a future next 1st round pick. Rico/Greathouse albeing ahead of typical frosh curve haven't shown big time potential yet. No one expects them to be tate, but i also haven't seen anything yet to show they could to turn into a really good college WRs. My concern is they both seem like slot guys and won't get that opportunity if we don't get better outside with Tobias/Thomas/Colzie etc.
