Lacrosse still in dirt after we were told Jack Coan was an elite athlete in the sport then he gets on the football field and he runs like he's wearing unlaced Steel Toe Boots

He’s probably more like 5’10” 160 but he’s every bit as athletic as an Avery Davis or equivalent when looking at slot WR or DB prospects. He has very good change of direction and OK top end speed for football. In lacrosse, his acceleration and lateral quickness makes him virtually unguardable in space… he’s a “one man clear” where if you get him the ball he runs around/through people to get it to the other side of the field with ease. His biggest issue from a lacrosse standpoint is mediocre stick skills and outside shooting for a “top tier” D1 player but that doesn’t matter for football obviously.

Notre Dame signees usually garner so much attention and hype, but athlete Jordan Faison has gone under the radar - that was until this week. During the week of practice, he was the best player overall for Broward County and had three catches in the game that all went for first downs, breaking tackles and showing burst every time he touched the ball.

He is going to South Bend as a two-sport athlete, signing as one of the top lacrosse players in the country while also joining the football team. He played quarterback throughout his high school career, but he will make an impact on the gridiron as a slot receiver for the Fighting Irish.

BK started pushing the PWO program and made some pretty good progress with it. Freeman has taken it to another level with Faison and Talich.

Like most things recruiting, BK just didn't put enough elbow grease into it.

This wasn't a feel good decision for the locker room, it was a, our WRs are hurt and or suck right now, a PWO from the Lax team needs to play and he's forced to take a football scholarship. Once he stepped foot on the field he was on a football scholarship.

With that said, I think he's going to be a good player, and we'll all be asking WTF wasn't he playing more early
